Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Helping girls find their future sisters and best friends and seeing everyone’s faces on Bid Day! Fun fact: I’m from the Chicago suburbs, I love pugs, I love playing softball and volleyball, and I’m obsessed with the Royal Family, primarily Kate Middleton.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Working with a wide variety of women who are PNMs. I am so excited to help them find a place that they can truly call home. Fun fact: I play the ukulele to help me relax and focus!  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Learning more about the different chapters and getting to revisit them. Also, I am looking forward to giving the PNMs a positive rush experience. I had a great time during rush, and I owe a lot of that to my Gamma Chis. Fun fact: I am a townie, and went to my first Illini game as a baby.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Leading all of the PNMs to all of the chapters in order to help them find a chapter that is perfect for them! Fun fact: My birthday is on the Fourth of July!  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I cannot wait to help the PNMs go through the actual recruitment process. In my eyes, recruitment is an exciting time that allows one to experience a whole new chapter in their life, so I feel very blessed to be able to be a part of facilitating that. Being able to wear Nike shorts and a t-shirt during the many rounds of recruitment isn’t such a bad bonus either! Fun fact: I have a twin sister who is also involved in U of I’s Greek life!  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Working with women in different chapters and helping potential new members through their recruitment experience. Fun fact: I have lived in England and Australia.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Being a role model for the PNMs and helping them find their “home” on campus. Each PNM has the opportunity to experience a successful recruitment process and I want to be there as a guide and support for them each step of the way. Fun fact: I went to Berlin over spring break and Israel in May after school ended!  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: The rewarding experience of seeing the women so happy in their new chapters and knowing I helped them with that. Fun fact: I have two different colored eyes!  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Meeting all the girls in my group and helping them all find their perfect fit for the next four years. I love my chapter so much, and can’t wait to be with the girls when they realize they’ve found their new home. Fun fact: I love the color pink, I’m obsessed with Ke$ha, and two of my toes are webbed!

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: The experience of interacting with the PNMs on the other side of the recruitment process. Fun fact: I’m not from the Chicago area, which seems to be rare at UIUC.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Getting PNMs excited about recruitment. Fun fact: I’ve been cliff jumping before!  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Getting to know all of the Gamma Chis and helping the PNMs find their future sisters. Fun fact: I am from a really small town with less than 200 people!

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Meeting girls from other chapters and working together through recruitment! Fun fact: I love to craft and bake!

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I’m excited to watch the PNMs first impressions of recruitment and of each chapter. I think it will be interesting to go through the experience through their perspective. Fun fact: When I was in Colorado over winter break, I ran into Taylor Armstrong from Real Housewives on the street and freaked out! It was really random.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: To seeing a different aspect of recruitment. I have been a PNM and a recruiter, so I think it will be cool to be able to be the person to help the PNMs find the right chapter for them. I am also really excited for the big reveal on Bid Day! Fun fact: I have been to 5 out of the 7 continents. I have not been to Antarctica and Asia.  

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Helping PNMs find their home on campus. Fun fact: I swam with sharks in the Galapagos.

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Being able to assist girls through the process of Recruitment and getting to see how happy they all are on Bid Day! Fun fact: I am the oldest of 6 siblings.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Seeing all of the PNMs in my group be excited about the chapter that they are joining on Bid Day. Fun fact: I love to hunt and fish!  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Initially meeting my group of PNMs and getting them psyched for recruitment. I can’t wait to help guide them through the process. Fun fact: I got to visit Japan and South Korea last summer.

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Meeting all the PNMs and giving them a great experience! Fun fact: I went to Cape Town, South Africa, this summer for an internship! I also love Harry Potter.

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I am most looking forward to getting to know women of many other chapters on campus as well as helping PNMs find the right chapter! Fun fact: Sports are a huge part of my life! I don’t go one day without reading the latest sports news or checking the standings; not to mention catching as many games as I can!

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: When I was going through recruitment, I felt completely comfortable going to my Gamma Chis for help and I knew I could ask them anything. This experience was so valuable to me personally, and I am looking forward to having this same experience with my group of PNMs. I am also looking forward to making relationships with the other Gamma Chis and meeting girls from the other sororities on campus. Fun fact: I have been to Mexico 12 times.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I can’t wait to help the PNMs through recruitment. I want to actually make a difference by at least helping one girl through the process. Fun fact: I am the youngest on both sides of my family!  

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Being able to help the new girls find chapters to join on campus and begin their Greek-life journey. I’m excited to see everyone excited on Bid Day and have played a role in helping with the new member classes of each sorority here on campus. Fun fact: I have a twin brother!

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: As a Gamma Chi, I am most looking forward to the friendships that I’m going to make through this experience. Fun fact: I’m majoring in elementary education.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Learning great listening skills that will continue to help me throughout my life and career. Fun fact: I’m an elementary education major.

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Helping women find their new homes. I don’t think I could have made it though recruitment without my Gamma Chi’s help. I want to be able to make that same difference with the PNMs. Fun fact: My favorite thing to do is cook! I love baking the most, but I couldn’t live without being able to cook all the time.  

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I am looking forward to assuring the PNMs to have the best experience during formal recruitment at Illinois! Fun fact: I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with the show One Tree Hill.    

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I am looking forward to working with the other Gamma Chis to help make the recruitment process a positive experience for the PNMs. Fun fact: I am ¼ Japanese, and ¼ German, so I am diverse and culturally accepting.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Seeing girls get excited about which chapters they get bids from. Fun fact: I once crashed my car into a snow bank because “Teenage Dream” by Katy Perry came on the radio. I got too excited.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I am looking forward to the ability to help the PNMs make their choices to find the chapter that fits them best. I think that having a Gamma Chi is so helpful to them, and I want to be that Gamma Chi, one who is there for them and is able to help them no matter what the issue. Fun fact: I moved to Colorado after living in a Chicago suburb my whole life.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Becoming close with my group of Gamma Chis and making the best out of the recruitment process together! Fun fact: I’ve ridden a donkey before.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Getting to know other women of the Greek community that I wouldn’t have met otherwise. Fun fact: I’m left handed.  

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I’m most looking forward to guiding PNMs through the recruitment process and helping them with any problems that arise. I’m also looking forward to getting to know all of the other Gamma Chis from other chapters! Fun fact: I am obsessed with whales. Literally obsessed.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I am excited to help guide the PNMs on an experience that they will never forget. Although the process of recruitment may be stressful and difficult at times, the end result of becoming a new member in a chapter is so exciting. So I think seeing the girls happy in the end will be rewarding. Fun fact: I have a twin sister!

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I am excited to meet and work with girls from different chapters throughout the University of Illinois. Fun fact: I have a twin sister that is also at U of I.  

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Seeing the faces of the PNMs when they open their bids on Bid Day. Fun fact: I used to be a competitive gymnast.  

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I am excited to have the opportunity to encourage young women to find their “home away from home” at the University of Illinois. Fun fact: I am really interested in archaeology and spent last summer in a tiny town in South Carolina excavating a site called “Pottersville.”

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Meeting all of the women from different chapters, and helping more women find the perfect chapter for them. Fun fact: I have studied abroad three times in my life, and am planning on going abroad again. First, I studied my junior year of high school in South Africa, then the summer after my freshman year of college in Italy, and then I spent a few weeks in New Zealand after my sophomore year.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: The ability to learn all of the chapter’s songs! Fun fact: I caught my forehead on fire with a Yankee candle when I was three. It was Vanilla Cupcake scent and it is still my favorite candle.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I am really excited to get to meet other Gamma Chis and work alongside them. Fun fact: I am a counselor for Camp Kesem, a camp for children whose parents have cancer.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Forming a positive relationship with all the PNMs in my group! Recruitment can be a stressful time for PNMs so it is a Gamma Chi’s responsibility to be fun, supportive and very encouraging! Fun fact: I love to ski! Over winter break I skied the black diamond Back Bowls of Vail, Colorado!  

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I am most looking forward to learning about all of the different girls in all of the different chapters and gaining a greater appreciation for Greek life at the University of Illinois! Fun fact: I hope to one day become a successful doctor!  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Bid Day and seeing all of the girls in my group excited about finding out which chapter they’re in. Fun fact: I’m obsessed with England and the royal family. I even have a Will and Kate shirt that I proudly wear on their anniversary.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Being able to help PNMs and hopefully making a difference. Also I look forward to making friends. Fun fact: I went to State twice for golf. Also, I hate fries.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Being able to see every PNM find the chapter of their dreams and enjoy everything Greek life has to offer as much as I do! Fun fact: The Backstreet Boys were and always will be my favorite band of all time.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Helping out the PNMs when they are feeling low and raising their spirits. Fun fact: My family has gotten kicked out of Canada (didn’t bring our passports, but it sounds funny!)  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Getting the PNMs pumped up and excited for each day of recruitment. It’ll be a challenge to help them get through the long days, but it’ll be worth it for them to enjoy themselves. Fun fact: I can drive stick shift.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Helping PNMs get acquainted and excited about Greek life! I hope I can make a positive impact like my Gamma Chis did for me. Fun fact: I grew up in Champaign, IL.  

 

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Interacting with the PNMs and working cohesively with my fellow Gamma Chis to try and have the best formal recruitment yet! Fun fact: I have been on 18 cruises.  

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Getting to know all of the chapters on the University of Illinois campus. I feel that if I know a little more about them, then I will feel more confident talking with the PNMs. Fun fact: I’m a triplet, as well as a student athletic trainer for the University of Illinois football team.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I am so excited to give advice to and support PNMs during their recruitment experience! Fun fact: I have had a YouTube channel for four years, where I post videos of me singing cover and original songs!    

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I can’t wait to help the PNMs through the recruitment process! I want to make their recruitment as fun and enjoyable as possible! Fun fact: I sang the National Anthem at a NBA game.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Meeting the PNMs and helping them through the process and making them feel welcomed by the Greek community. I am also excited to get to know more about other chapters and I am looking forward to the big reveal of our chapters and seeing where my PNMs end up. Fun fact: I speak fluent Polish.    

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Getting to know girls from other chapters and experiencing rush from a different perspective. Fun fact: I danced for 15 years.    

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I’m looking forward to becoming a leader and helping guide all the girls looking for the perfect sorority to fit them. I’m also excited to meet all the Gamma Chis and form everlasting friendships. Fun fact: I am from a very small town in southern Illinois, Nashville. I graduated with 90 people and was President of my class. I love the country but also enjoy the city! I’m also obsessed with the St. Louis Cardinals and go to about 15-20 games a year.

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Working with the PNMs and being able to share my experience of Greek life with them in order to excite them and make them feel comfortable with the Recruitment process. Fun fact: I am able to speak, read, and write in the Greek language.    

Year: Junior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I’m excited to help the PNMs have a memorable recruitment experience, just like I had! Fun fact: I have played golf since I was five.

Fun fact: I have a double major in Spanish, so I like to (try) and carry out conversations in Spanish when the opportunity arises.

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Interacting with all the PNMs and showing them how great Greek life is! Fun fact: I will love you forever if you give me anything with Oreos!    

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: I’m most looking forward to more of the team building activities and getting to know all the other girls from different chapters. Fun fact: I was named after Tropical Storm Danielle that hit on the day I was born.    

Year: Senior What I am most looking forward to as a Gamma Chi: Meeting new friends, and helping new ladies go through recruitment. Fun fact: I can eat chocolate at any hour of the day.
