It is the 16th and final meeting between the two clubs in 2015. The Redbirds lead the season-series 8-7 and also own a 128-122 all-time series lead. This evening’s series finale will be broadcast live on Sports 56, 87.7 FM, and internet webcast available at www.memphisredbirds.com. Steve Selby is on the call. ARTURO REYES TO MEMPHIS: Today, right-handed pitcher Arturo Reyes was promoted from Double-A Springfield to the Redbirds. In 17 starts this season for Springfield, the 23-year-old went 7-7 with a 2.64 ERA (29er/99.ip). Reyes attended Gonzaga University and was a teammate of fellow Bulldog Marco Gonzales. Both Bulldogs were selected by the Cardinals in the 2013 First Year Player Draft, which saw Gonzales drafted in the 1st round and Reyes in the 40th. ROAD WARRIORS: The Redbirds wrap-up their longest road trip of the season tonight, a 14-day, 13-game road trip through three cities. Mem- phis has fared well during the club’s longest road trips over the last two seasons. In 2013, the Redbirds ended the season with a 13-game road trip from 8/21-9/2 and went 7-6. Last season, Memphis overcame a 15-game, 13-road swing from 7/25-8/5 (four doubleheaders) by going 10-5. Thirteen of the Redbirds’ final 25 games are on the road. PHAMTASTIC!: Redbirds outfielder Tommy Pham is starting to heat up. Over his last 20 games, the 27-year-old is hitting .403 (29-for-72) with nine walks and 17 RBI. Pham has recorded 10 multi-hit games during that span, including seven in his last 11 games. HAZELBAKING: Twenty-one of Jeremy Hazelbaker’s 45 hits this sea- son have gone for extra-bases, earning the outfielder a .667 slugging percentage. The 28-year-old has hit safely in 12 of his last 14 contests. Hazelbaker has also recorded 14 multi-hit games and knocked in 34 runs in just 36 games with the Redbirds since joining the club on July 3. DEAN’S LIST: Redbirds second baseman Dean Anna has hit safely in 24 of his last 29 games at a .370 clip (37-for-100) while collecting 19 walks over that span, good for a .479 on-base percentage. Anna leads all PCL second baseman with a .988 fielding percentage, committing five errors in 405 total chances. OUR MAN STANLEY: Since July 1, Redbirds catcher Cody Stanley is hitting .323 (30-for-93) with four home runs and eight doubles to go along with 23 RBI. During that span, the 26-year-old backstop has re- corded seven multi-hit games in 21 starts, including a five-hit effort on July 4. WALKING IN MEMPHIS: Redbirds batters lead the Pacific Coast League with 500 walks, 15 more than the second-place Fresno Griz- zlies (485). Memphis is on pace to walk 605 times this season, which would break the franchise record of 588 from 2011. Infielder Dean Anna currently ranks 4th in the league with 55 free passes. THIS DAY IN REDBIRDS HISTORY: In 2002, third baseman Mike Coolbaugh hit a grand slam in his second consecutive game, a 5th inning blast off of Iowa right-hander Michael Wuertz. OMAHA TIES: Redbirds first baseman Dan Johnson played two seasons at the University of Nebraska from 2000-01. The 2001 All- American helped the Cornhuskers win the Big 12 Conference for the first time since 1950 and reach the College World Series for the first time in school history. Omaha manager Brian Poldberg managed the 1992 Double-A Memphis Chicks to a 71-73 record. Storm Chasers hitting coach Tommy Gregg spent five seasons as Memphis hitting coach from 2002-06. ARTURO REYES TO MEMPHIS: Today, right-handed pitcher Arturo

Reyes was promoted from Double-A Springfi eld to the Redbirds. In 17 starts this season for Springfi eld, the 23-year-old went 7-7 with a 2.64 ERA (29er/99.ip). Reyes attended Gonzaga University and was a teammate of fellow Bulldog Marco Gonzales.
