“Sow, What’s That

In Your Hand?”

7Do not be deceived, God is not mocked;

for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. 8For the one who sows to his

own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to

the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will

reap if we do not grow weary.

Paul wasn’t the first to say it...

Matthew 13:24-3027“The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28“And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ (27-28a)

For they sow the wind and they reap the whirlwind. (Hosea 8:7a)

The principle of sowing and reaping is

as old as life itself. What you sow is what you reap.

“Do not be deceived,

No farmer expects to harvest only the amount

he sows.

4. You Reap Later Than You Sow.

No farmer takes a harvest basket with him while he

plants and covers the seed!

5. Even Innocent People Reap A

Harvest From The Seed We Sow.
