GALATIANS 3 THE STORY SO FARJewish believers from Jerusalem had visited Galatian churches and told them that the real gospel included the requirement to observe traditional Jewish customs.

Paul wrote a letter to be read by all of the Galatian churches to warn them that they had DESERTING JESUS by adopting a NON-GOSPEL gospel [1:7]GALATIANS 3 THE STORY SO FAR

Later in Antioch, Paul had to oppose Peter because he had compromised the gospel message when under pressure from a group visiting from the Jerusalem church [2:11-21]
