HOLIDAYS FOR HEROES IN NUMBERS: 2017• 32 individuals (veterans, their families, and caregivers) received Nantucket Experiences. • 1 American Dream Grant awarded to Michael Lammey of Safety Happens LLC.• $450,000+ in fundraising to underwrite annual Nantucket Experiences.
THE NANTUCKET EXPERIENCEWe partner with Nantucket residents and businesses to host all-inclusive retreats for veterans and their families. We honor our veterans and their families as a unit, inviting all members of the family to experience a dream-come-true vacation complete with sailing, fishing, clambakes, and more.
THE AMERICAN DREAM GRANTFrom $2,500 to $25,000, American Dream Grants further education and training for small business start-ups of heroes committed to building a future. Our past success stories include: Extra Ordinary Delights Fudge - Aaron Hale, Anytime Fitness (Dodgeville, WI) - Mike McVay, Patriot’s Choice Carpentry - James Sheehan.
