Thank you to our sponsors, all who donated items, attended, and those who bid on items. It was a wonderful evening filled with entertainment, fundraising, and fellowship. This event would not have been possible without the efforts of the Gala Committee. I would like to thank the Gala Committee for all the time, energy, and enthusiasm they dedicated to this event. I would like to especially thank Allison Tronnes and Christina Fulton for leading this committee and pulling it all together for the BEST night EVER! We look forward to sharing final numbers with the entire school community once all has been finalized. St. Mary School continues to have many blessings! SchoolKidz The SchoolKidz information will be sent home on May 3 rd in Friday Folders. All orders must be placed online at www.shopttkits.com. Our school account number is 23421. Orders must be placed online by Saturday, May 25 th . No late orders will be accepted. If you have a child that will be in preschool or kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year, do not order their kit online. These preschool and kindergarten kits are already part of the supply fee billed through FACTS and will be distributed to them on the first day of school. Holy Week by Sr. Kim We are about to enter the holiest week of the year. These days are filled with paradoxes. On Holy Thursday at the Last Supper, not only does Jesus institute the Eucharist, he also teaches ascendency through humble service by washing the feet of his disciples, proclaiming, “Whoever wants to be first must be the last of all and the servant of all.” The paradox of Good Friday is that the wounds and suffering of Jesus produce healing and salvation for us. And finally, the paradox of Holy Saturday/ Easter is that the death and resurrection of Jesus yield new everlasting life for us. We in turn must die to our sinful selfish selves in order to live with him forever in heaven.

2019-2020 School Calendar We are completing the calendar for the 2019-2020 school year. The following dates will help you with planning, but please remember that they are still subject to change. STEAM Awards Night On Thursday, May 2nd, St. Mary School will host its 2nd Annual STEAM Awards Night. Junior high students have been nominated for awards in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics and the winners will be announced during this event. One example of a project in this area that will be recognized is the stop motion movies completed by our 8th grade students. Some of these projects along with others will be viewed by the audience. Junior high parents will want to be present, especially if your student has been nominated for an award. This will also be an opportunity for fifth grade parents to see some of the opportunities their child will have during their junior high years here at St. Mary School. We are excited to announce that once again our special emcee for the evening will be our local celebrity, Susan Carlson!
