® The Friendship of Business Bay Shore, NY • Fontana, CA • Fairfield, OH Vol. 38 • Spring 2016 G G O O O O D D T T M M E E S S During my 33 years of doing business at Duro Dyne, I have dealt with hundreds, if not thou- sands, of people in many capacities: employees, vendors, customers, lawyers, accountants, bankers, and others. One of the most important lessons I have learned is that doing business with people you do not trust, respect, or like makes one’s job very stressful and truly undesirable. Human instinct, of course, would have us gravi- tate towards those whom we like and away from those whom we do not. In most relationships, we have control to choose those whom we want to do business with. This is especially important when choosing a service provider who will be handling sensitive information. You want to make sure the person you select is trustworthy and will protect your information as you would. Picking a good vendor is crucial; it would definitely need to be a company with representatives whose characters evi- dence the qualities of trust and honesty. Of course, Duro Dyne does its very best to provide you with Salespeople who meet that criteria of honesty and integrity. It usually isn’t hard since our corporate culture is one which rewards us with a friendly, honest, family-like reputation. We surely have some of the best Sales Professionals in the industry. But when it comes to customers, we don’t have as much choice. However, Duro Dyne has been fortunate to have many loyal, hard-working, long- standing, customers. In fact, many of our customers have become friends. In my personal experience, I have really enjoyed my business relationships. When you have open communication, and no hidden agendas, it is very easy to foster long-term, successful relationships. I truly look forward to seeing our customers at conferences, shows, or even on a sales call. I am happy, and fortunate, to have many business friendships. A relationship is a two way street, and having such a great rapport makes business more enjoyable and successful for both parties. Thank you to my business friends for making my job so gratifying. I hope you all feel as blessed in business relationships as I have. Looks like founder, Milt Hinden (far left) started Randy’s gratifying relationships long ago !
