Social media has just come along and whipped

us all in the ass...

I’ve come into my self as a woman and I’ve learnt how to be confi dent. Musically I’ve grown; my range, my performances, being confi dent on stage and just owning it and being exactly who I am on and off stage.

How has your indigenous background shaped you, and do you think you are a role model for young indigenous people?

I like to think that I can inspire all kids, no matter what background. I had to take that journey myself to understand fully about my Aboriginality... growing up in a broken home and always knowing I was indigenous but never really understanding. Then after ‘Idol’, I went back to my dad’s country and we’ve got a learning centre there and I learnt some language. I just felt really at home and I felt

happy because I had done it for me, and I could understand.

When can we expect to hear new music from you?

I’ve defi nitely been working away. I recorded some stuff earlier this year and we’re just going through the mixing and mastering processes as we speak!

What can audiences expect from your upcoming Mama Cass tribute show?

They can expect a night of music and toe-tapping and singing along and entertainment.

What is it about Mama Cass that you admire so much?

I think while doing my own ‘Big, Beautiful and Sexy’ show and showcasing Mama Cass as one of the ‘big, beautiful and sexy’ artists and then also getting to play her down in Melbourne, I have learnt so much about this woman and little bit by little bit just learning and realising we have so many similarities in life. One of them is being a bigger girl, but also just living life to the fullest and wrapping yourself in music and just living as much as you can.

How diffi cult was it to portray the iconic fi gure of Mama Cass on stage?

It was a bit tricky for me because trying to put on Cass’ shoes, they’re quite big and there’s a lot of pressure to kind of get out there and make her amazing and let her spirit live on, so there was a lot of pressure. I guess just getting in the headspace, Cass was such a bubbly person but she had a very well-hidden heartache so I could relate a lot to that. I’ve never had so much anxiety in my life as when I was doing that show, I was nervous all the time thinking ‘oh my god, Casey don’t stuff it up’.

While she was loved for her beautiful voice, Mama Cass was also well-known for being a bigger woman. What do you think about the way the media and public focuses on musicians’ fi gures?

Everyone’s judged for their weight, and

whatever they do and however they look and god knows, social media these days has just come along and whipped us all in the ass. But I’m out there and I promote a healthy living and yes I am a big, beautiful and sexy woman but that doesn’t stop me living my life and having fun. The one thing that I dislike is when people just categorise bigger people for just being lazy and eating a lot of s**t, which is just not the case. It makes me angry that people still do that and we’re moving in a world and there’s other things to worry about.

What kind of feedback do you get on social media?

I get slandered every day, I get bullied every day but the way I deal with it is I’ll reply nicely back to them or I’ll just leave it because sticks and stones may break my bones but words are never gonna hurt me... well they do, but I’m not going to let them.

You appeared on ‘Australian Idol’ when you were just 16. How did you cope with being in the spotlight at such a young age?

I think there’s a lot of pressure for any 16-year-old going through high school and then being thrust into the limelight.. I’ve learnt some amazing lessons, it’s still the big question, was I too young? It’s been an amazing journey and being so young and doing the show like that has let me grow into a woman and re-assess my life and my career, whereas if I was 30 and doing ‘Australian Idol’ then having to do what I’m doing now, I’d be 50 before anything would happen.

It’s been almost 10 years since you won ‘Idol’. How have you changed in that time?

Casey Donovan will be performing a tribute to Mama Cass at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, September 14 at 8pm. Tickets range from $29 to $39. For bookings or more information, call 4723 7600 or visit www.jspac.com.au.

DONOVAN’S A LONG WAY FROM IDOL DAYSA music sensation at just 16-years-old, Casey Donovan has come a long way since her Aussie Idol days. Th ere’s a new Mama Cass tribute show, and plenty of original music in the mix, as SHANNON COCHRANE discovers...

B y day, nine-year-old Jordan Garner might be in class learning his ABCs but when school’s out this budding country star can be found in the

recording studio.Jordan, who lives in Windsor, discovered

his passion for music when he was still a toddler and since then his career has blossomed.

The young, aspiring singer has been busking at Tamworth every year since he was two-years-old and began working with a recording studio in Wilberforce after he told his grandfather Ray Garner that he wanted to make his own CD.

While this might seem like an amazing amount of drive and initiative for someone so young, Jordan said that his interest in music was piqued by Australian country legend Slim Dusty.

“When I was two, if I was crying or anything my pop always used to sit me down on his lap and let me watch Slim Dusty movies

and a few minutes later after he put it on, I’d just be asleep… that’s when I realised I want to be a singer,” Jordan said.

Since that fateful revelation, Jordan has worked on achieving his dream by releasing an impressive fi ve CDs and performing at various festivals and shows.

Despite his musical talent, Jordan was never pushed into singing lessons and instead began performing of his own accord.

“He’s just picked it up… as soon as he was old enough to start talking, he started to sing ‘G’Day G’Day’… all the other songs he just learnt by listening to it on the CD,” Mr Garner said.

As well as performing covers of his favourite country songs, Jordan has also recorded original music – his song ‘Just Like Slim’ was written by his grandfather Ray and inspired by his desire to emulate his hero, while ‘My Best Mate’ was penned by Jordan’s mother Kristy about his beloved dog Abbou.

Jordan himself also contributed to his

fourth CD, ‘Country Revival’, which includes a poem he wrote for his father, who tragically passed away two years ago.

This up-and-coming musician’s efforts have not gone unnoticed, with Jordan having received the ‘Junior Performer CD of the Year’

award in the United States and also winning the ‘Rising Legend’ award.

Jordan Garner will perform at the St Marys Spring Festival in Coachman’s Park on Saturday, September 7. Visit his website www.jordangarner.com.au or call Ray: 0418 840 077.

L ive, local talent will be embraced at Katoomba RSL when three up and coming bands take to the stage.

Audiences will get the chance to enjoy an evening of fabulous live music at the Indie Triptych concert at Katoomba RSL on Saturday, September 7.

The venue will welcome back rock band The Trobes, after their triumphant set supporting acclaimed group British India earlier this year.

The Trobes come from the Blue Mountains and are a colourful, playful and quirky band with their own distinctive brand of indie rock music that is replete with intricate arrangements and catchy melodies.

The rising stars have already released three records – their debut album ‘Lend Me Your EP’ in 2011, their 2012 sophomore release ‘Out and In Focus’ and their latest free release ‘Lend Me Your Live EP’, which is available for free on their Bandcamp website.

They have enjoyed success and played in

numerous venues across western Sydney, as well as releasing video clips for their singles ‘All or Nothing’ and ‘No One Can Tell’.

Joining The Trobes on stage will be three-piece rock band Picture Perfect, made up of Blue Mountains natives vocalist and guitarist Gavin Bowles, bassist Cameron Hill and drummer Simon Bowles.

After forming in early 2005, Picture Perfect have come in leaps and bounds career-wise, recording two full length albums and supporting pub rock band The Radiators.

They have also competed and performed well in numerous band competitions and came second in the 2011 Blue Mountains Battle of the Bands.

The evening will be kicked off by Shadows at Play, a four-piece band that was formed when members Ash and Bailey bought a shack in the Blue Mountains specifi cally to write and play music in.

Since then, the shack has become a haven for songwriters and musicians to visit, while

Shadows at Play have grown and released their debut EP ‘Love and Logic’.

While each of these bands have different sounds and genres, they are united by their Blue Mountains upbringing and status as hot rising bands ready to wow the Australian music

industry. The Trobes, Picture Perfect and Shadows

at Play will perform at Katoomba RSL on Saturday, September 7 at 8pm. Entry is free. For more information, visit www.katoombarsl.com.au or call 4782 2624.

A ny teenage girl will be able to relate to the issues tackled in contemporary coming of age tale Hate Is Such a Strong Word.

Written by experienced journalist Sarah Ayoub, Hate Is Such a Strong Word draws on personal experiences to tell the story of 17-year-old Sophie as she journeys through life and deals with the trials and tribulations of high school.

Sophie Kazzi is in Year 12 at an all-Lebanese, all-Catholic school where she is invisible, uncool and bored out of her brain.

Sophie is just like any regular teenage girl – she hates Monday mornings, has strong opinions on fashion and dislikes the battle she faces every time she asks her parents if she can go out.

But the one thing that especially annoys Sophie is when people stereotype her because she’s Lebanese.

Attending the Lebanese school, Sophie feels comfortable until a new student, Shehadie Goldsmith, arrives on the scene.

Since Shehadie’s father is Australian, he is alienated by his peers at the school and Sophie hates the fact that it makes her feel like she is prejudiced too.

She struggles with her behaviour, wanting to make a difference in Shehadie’s life and feeling the strong attraction between them but fi nding it diffi cult to summon up the

strength to go against everything she’s been raised to believe.Unfortunately, her father has antiquated ideas about

women, curfews and the Lebanese “way”. Bad news for Sophie, who was hoping to spend Year 12 fi tting in and having fun – not babysitting her four younger siblings, or studying for fi nal exams that will land her in an Accounting course she has no interest in.

Author Sarah Ayoub is a journalist and blogger who has written for Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Cleo, Mamamia, Girlfriend and Frankie.

She has spoken at numerous industry events with the Emerging Writer’s Festival, NSW Writer’s Centre, The Walkley Foundation, Vibewire and more.

She was inspired by Melina Marchetta’s novel Looking for Alibrandi, and drew on her upbringing as an Australian-Lebanese living in Sydney’s south-west to write about the confusion faced by young people with multicultural backgrounds.

Her writing is touching and relatable, and Hate Is Such a Strong Word deals with a range of teenage issues, from prejudice and sexism to curfews, fi rst loves and jobs.

This novel is a stunning piece of work from Ayoub and is perfect for young women.

It goes on sale on September 1 from Harper Collins Publishers Australia.

SMALL SCREENBIG SCREEN

P arents should prepare themselves for a day of screaming and tears when the beloved boys from One Direction

appear on the big screen, thrilling teenage girls across the planet.

Teen sensation boy band One Direction’s documentary ‘One Direction: This Is Us’ is fi nally here after months of anticipation. The group was formed on popular TV show ‘The X Factor’ by Simon Cowell and their fi lm ‘This Is Us’ follows the journey of the fi ve boys – Liam, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Harry – as they go from complete strangers to being called modern day Beatles.

Interestingly, the fi lm has been directed by Academy Award nominated Morgan Spurlock, who rose to fame with his documentary ‘Super Size Me’, which examined the unhealthy side effects of a diet heavy in fast food.

The fi lm features behind the scenes videos, footage from their tour and those songs that leave teenage girls insane. ‘This Is Us’ is one of the most eagerly awaited fi lms of the year and will undoubtedly have fans in a frenzy.

T he epic third installment in the Iron Man fi lms, ‘Iron Man 3’ has Robert Downey Jr playing Tony Stark, a billionaire specialising

in weapons manufacturing turned philanthropist who helps defend the earth as Iron Man, a superhero.

The fi lm follows Tony as his enemy The Mandarin destroys his personal world, leaving Tony to fi nd out if the man makes the suit or if the suit makes the man. He must use his own skills and intellectual genius to earn back the woman he loves and restore harmony to his life.

Filled with explosions and a classic superhero vs villain plotline, ‘Iron Man 3’ is sure to have viewers on the edge of their seat and itching for more.

The fi lm is a welcome addition to the superhero genre with a more sophisticated plotline than many similar movies – ‘Iron Man 3’ has emotional complexity that fans adore. Hardcore fans will also enjoy the DVD, which features deleted scenes, a gag reel, behind the scenes footage and a brand new Marvel short fi lm.

T he latest chapter in the Lost Planet series is now on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC with incredible graphics and

the extremely unpredictable conditions that made ‘Lost Planet’ the raging success that it has been.

‘Lost Planet 3’ reveals new information about the planet and the history of E.D.N. III, with twists that will delight long-time fans of this gaming series.

The protagonist is a rig-pilot called Jim, a man who leaves Earth for a contract on the dangerous E.D.N III. The harsh climate of the planet makes the colonisation of it diffi cult and when the off world’s base starts to lose power, Jim sees this as his chance to escape and go back to his family early.

Jim must brave the climate and the hostile Akrid, and fi nd a way off E.D.N. III before the base or death catches up with him. The game has lots for players to interact with as they continue on their journey, with side-quests to help out other characters and exploration of the planet’s environment.

B ritish pop singer Ellie Goulding’s smash hit second studio album ‘Halcyon Days’ is back with 10 new songs and includes hit

singles ‘Anything Could Happen’ and Calvis Harris song ‘I Need Your Love’, which she features in.

With indie folk and electro pop styles, Goulding burst onto the music scene with ‘Anything Could Happen’ in 2012, but before that she was already an internet sensation with ‘Starry Eyed’ and a sensational cover of ‘Black and Gold’ by Sam Sparro.

Her fi rst album ‘Lights’ came out in 2010 and was then renamed ‘Bright Lights’ and released again the same year with seven fresh new songs. Now, her sophomore album ‘Halcyon’, which was fi rst released last year, is back on the shelves as a brand new deluxe edition form for fans to enjoy.

When it was released, the record received generally positive reviews from critics who praised Goulding’s emotive and evocative lyrics and the mix of beautiful harmonies with catchy disco beats. In a review featured in music

magazine Rolling Stone, critic Will Hermes wrote about the album: “If the songwriting doesn’t quite measure up to UK art-pop divas like Kate Bush, the hooks always go to town and her voice – Dolly Parton-dazzling in the upper register – mates gorgeously with electronics”. Overall, ‘Halcyon’ is an impressive second album.

EAT OUT THIS WEEKEND

STONE GRILL

HANKS HENRI MARC

PANAROTTIS

A unique dining experience right in the Penrith CBD, Stonegrill has some of the best cuts of meat you will ever taste, plus don’t leave without trying

the delicious sticky date pudding. Bookings are defi nitely required, especially on weekends as Stonegrill is very popular. This is an interactive dining experience that is great for group parties or work events. Make sure you ask about the three course set menu, which is not only excellent value, but will give you the opportunity to try the best that Stone Grill has to offer.

80 Henry Street, Penrith. Phone 4722 5141.

W e all love a great pizza but arguably Penrith’s best can be found at Panarottis inside Penrith Panthers. Whether it be the

delicious Mobster pizza, or something a little more unique and gourmet, Panarotti’s has an awesome, varied menu. There are also pasta, steak and chicken dishes on offer. With a wide selection for the entire family, it’s no wonder Panarottis is one of the leading choices around town for birthday parties, work events or other functions. There’s defi nitely something here for everyone.

N o longer do you have to drive up to an hour away to experience quality seafood. Right here in Penrith, you can get the best of the best at Hanks

Seafood Co inside Panthers. You will love the variety on the menu and the atmosphere of the new restaurant, which has been earning rave reviews from locals. Make sure you make a night of it and try something from the entrée menu as well as the delicious mains and the desserts. The fresh salmon and lobster are our picks! If you’re a seafood lover, you will not be disappointed by Hanks.

P enrith just got funky! If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend breakfast, or a quick snack, the very snappy Henri Marc could well be the answer.

Located in Memory Park in the Penrith CBD, Henri Marc’s menu changes daily, so your experience will always be varied. As long as the beautiful milkshakes are on the menu, we’re happy! Pancakes, a variety of egg-based dishes, chorizo-inspired items and a whole heap more… Henri Marc is simply stunning and certainly very different from the run of the mill cafes you’ll fi nd around the place.

Shop 2, 438 High St, Penrith.

A ustralian sparkling maker, Domaine Chandon has launched Chandon Vintage Collection, a series giving its winemakers the freedom to

select and blend exceptional parcels of fruit into bubblies they feel refl ect the unique “personality” of each vintage.

“We draw fruit from a diversity of sites, and by working closely with our growers, and combining this with our range of winemaking expertise, we’re now able to bottle that unique annual vintage personality,” says Chandon Senior Winemaker, Dan Buckle.

“Every year there’s something special that stands out. It might be a parcel of fruit of exceptional character, or an idea we are exploring – whatever it is, the new Vintage Collection will allow us to develop it right through to release, a freedom not allowed for many winemakers.”

The fi rst Chandon Collection wine is the 2008 Chandon Cuvée 500 blended from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Victoria’s colder

climate King Valley, Macedon and Strathbogie Ranges, that all sit over 500m above sea level.

This is a rewarding bubbly with bright cranberry fruit fl avours, minerality and zesty lime citrus; pay $44.99 and enjoy with family or friends next time you’re in celebration mode.

One to note: Every year Logan Wines release two benchmark Shiraz under their Ridge of Tears label, one that Peter Logan is exceptionally proud of as it exemplifi es the best from the company’s Orange and Mudgee vineyards.

But this year there’s just a 2011 Mudgee Ridge of Tears Shiraz, a cracker wine from a challenging vintage. There’s no Orange Ridge of Tears Shiraz; with a very cold and wet 2011, Peter felt the resultant wine did not live up to the label’s expectations, so he’s bottled it under his premium eponymous Logan label where it over-delivers at just $25.

And seek out that 2011 Mudgee Ridge of Tears Shiraz; at $45 and with red and dark fruit fl avours, it’s great for a barbecue.

C ould ‘Deal or No Deal’ be dead? Maybe, after Channel Seven announced a new game show presented by none other than my

favourite host, Grant Denyer. The show is called ‘Million Dollar Minute’ and will see contestants face off in a battle of general knowledge with the chance to win one million dollars. It hasn’t been confi rmed if ‘Million Dollar Minute’ will replace ‘Deal’ but let me tell you, it’s defi nitely on the cards.

Channel Nine has reportedly secured the rights to the next two Ashes series to be played in England in 2015 and 2019. This year’s series did well for Nine’s HD channel

GEM despite our Aussie boys failing to fi re at the pitch.

‘Dancing with the Stars’ will fi nally return to Channel Seven before the year is out. Back as host is Daniel MacPherson and there’s even whispers Kelly Osbourne will be his sidekick this year. As for the contestants, songstress Tina Arena is defi nitely in with Rhiannon Fish, Jacinta Campbell and Tony Barber all rumoured as well.

Popular ‘Prison Break’ inmate Wentworth Miller who played Michael Scofi eld shocked the world last week when he came out as gay. Miller was hugely popular with the female audience during the show’s four-year run but he came out of the closest in a protest letter declining an invitation to appear at the St. Petersburg International Film Festival in Russia. Miller joins a growing wave of protests after Russian President Vladimir Putin recently signed laws banning the promotion of gay, lesbian or bisexual lifestyles and making foreign tourists who are members of the LGBT community subject to arrest. Miller wrote: “As a gay man, I must decline. I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government”.

Producers of hit cooking show ‘MasterChef Australia’ are looking for ways to freshen up the series next year. The show has already had a junior version as well as a professionals series, so who knows what they’ll think of next but I reckon a series of nannas and grandmothers going hard at it

would work a treat. After all they are the best cooks going around.

Legendary Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone is planning to adapt his ‘Rambo’ fi lm series to the small screen. ‘Rambo’ is currently in early development but it’s been confi rmed Stallone will not reprise his role as the iconic action star. Now all we need is a ‘Rocky’ TV series and we are set.

I caught an absolutely crazy show on A&E

last week called ‘Beverly Hills Pawn’. The show explores Yossi Dina’s extraordinary pawn shop in the heart of Beverly Hills where Hollywood’s elite go to fi nd a lot of fast cash. Yossi makes million dollar pawn deals at a moment’s notice for masterpieces, gems, antiques and priceless Hollywood treasures only attainable by the rich and famous. This show is unlike any other pawn show you’ve seen before because the store’s owner isn’t afraid to splash some cash, which is actually quite refreshing to see. ‘Beverly Hills Pawn’ airs weeknights on A&E.

T he 2013 Penrith Show was offi cially opened on Saturday afternoon by Stuart Ayres, MP for Penrith. The Show was blessed with excellent weather on

Saturday and Sunday, attracting in excess of 12,000 people.

The overall outcome of the 170th year of the Annual Show was a pleasing result with a great family atmosphere.

The Grand Parade was a hit, led out by Humphrey B Bear, followed by our beautiful Showgirls from past years. Also the School Agriculture Section had 18 schools in the parade, which made for an excellent display.

The School Agriculture Section of the Show worked to perfection this year with the move to the stabling area, which gave all of the schools more room and better viewing for the public.

The Ute Muster also proved to be successful and a crowd pleaser. The SMX Kaos show thrilled the crowded grandstand with their acrobatic motor cycle displays in day and night sessions. There is no doubt the skill of these motor bike riders is something to behold. Turning midair somersaults and riding no hands all comes with seemingly no nerves to these young riders.

Steve McEvan’s Reptile World is always a hit with the crowd.

On Saturday night apart from the Kaos riders the crowd was entertained by a Vintage Harness race in old fashioned high wheeled sulkies and of course the highlight of the night was the Fireworks display. Once again the brilliant fi reworks had the crowd amazed as the sky was lit up by dazzling stars, rockets and explosions.

Centre ring had a great exhibition with an increase in the Horse Section. The following main events in the Horse Section were won by;

• Aimee Adams Memorial Supreme Show Hunter Horse of the Show

Owendale Rembrandt Rider – Kate Treneman/ Duncan

• Merv Adams Memorial Supreme Open Horse of the Show

Coalbeach Bensign Rider – Joanne Stewart• Barbara Taylor Memorial Joanne Stewart Camelot Horse Rug Trophy Eliza Douglas• Cheryl Hunter Memorial Trophy Robbie Soster

The school agricultural winners were:

• D isplay Max Laughton Perpetual Shield Elderslie High School• Student Choice Elderslie High School• Gordon Moxon Perpetual Shield all

categories Elizabeth Macarthur• Corrective Services Calf Raising Trophy Champion – Xavier College• UWS Livestock Trophy

Elizabeth Macarthur• UWS Produce Trophy Xavier College• Sheep Parader Ben Minor from Elizabeth Macarthur

School subjects and junior cooking events were both well supported with Penrith Anglican School taking out the Printers and Stationers Shield. The Talinga Offi ce Supplies Shield was won by Nepean Creative and Performing Art School.

All sections of the show were well supported and Penrith District AH&I Society would like to thank all competitors for their support in making the Penrith Show such a success.

The Society would like to thank all of the section heads and volunteers who gave up their time to contribute towards this important annual event.

THE ADVICE YOU NEEDW ant to buy a new caravan or set up

an existing one so you can hit the road with all the other grey nomads and drift around Australia at your

own pace? If you’re a new chum, or even an experienced short trip caravanner, preparing for the “Big One” is a daunting task.

There are so many things to know and questions you should ask before spending thousands of dollars on a rig and associated gear. Sid and Sandie did their homework for

two years before jumping in and doing it – and they still got a lot of things wrong.

“When we sold up and hit the road in 2007, little did we anticipate the steep learning curve ahead of us. We made a few mistakes, including buying the wrong caravan for our purposes,” Sid explained.

“We spent the next fi ve years as homeless tramps, wandering where we chose around Australia, shooting lots of video as we went... A couple of friends said ‘you should be selling

that’, and the rest, as they say, is history!”‘Grey Nomad 101’ was the result and

the DVD is packed with tips and advice on how to go about such an adventure, along with beautiful footage of some of Australia’s best spots. It takes much of the mystery and uncertainty out of deciding what to buy and take with you on the trip.

For more information or to purchase a DVD, go to their website: www.greynomad101.com.

A bout six years ago the team at Freshield had an idea. To make a vacuum sealer purpose built for the outdoor markets. Not a domestic unit

that worked with an inverter, but a true outdoor machine that worked where and when they needed.

That’s a great idea but it’s never been done before.

Armed with research, customer feedback and their own list of requirements, they approached their designer in Germany and manufacturing plant in Korea. The simple answer was no. Can’t be done, have a nice day.

But the idea wouldn’t go away, and neither did Freshield. Fast forward to today and they have their brand new Freshield “Outdoor” vacuum sealer on the dispatch bench. It will do AC 110-240v so travelling overseas or boating use is covered, but more importantly it will run on 12vDC. The DC part is the tricky one

because as voltage drops, the time needed to vacuum and then seal needs to increase. So some very special electronics were installed to monitor just that.

If you caravan or hit the road in a Motorhome or Boating or 4WD trip, you can take it with you and stock up when the produce is cheapest or vacuum seal your catch to keep it fresh. You can also replace a lot of your containers as well, because the bags store fl at and airtight; no more fl our surprises when you hit the corrugations.

All your food will last fi ve times longer with the convenience of a 12v powered unit.

Another feature is the unique lid lock system that lets you know if both sides are locked or not. This means even Fred Flintstone could use it without calling for Wilma.

It includes a silicon drip tray that’s removable to wash should you have a spill, and the power supply is a highly effi cient switch mode design that reduces weight by nearly

half and draws 30 per cent less power to do the same job.

All up, the team at Freshield are very proud to bring Australians a world fi rst in food vacuum storage. It’s light weight, low power,

multi voltage and best of all it’s made by Freshield. Visit us at Penrith Caravan Show this year, Stand #43 in the building.

Or see more information at www.freshield.com.au.
