Michael,
As you know, as part of the sale of the Sony Pictures publishing
catalog the buyer will be
required to keep the administration with us. We were hoping to
require a term of at least five
years but SPE is concerned that a contract of that length might
negatively affect their valuation.
As a compromise they have agreed to five years but if the buyer
wants to sell after three years
then the deal could be terminable. Of course we will always
attempt to keep the deal but there
are no guarantees. Im OK with this arrangement but I wanted to
run it by you since this has
been a significant deal for us at SATV for quite some time.
