For all those contractors who are working on a Health Care project….this is vital information. This two hour course will provide attendees with basic strategies to meet the unique project needs regarding construction, renovation, or remediation in healthcare facilities. Topics will include a brief review of industry-specific requirements, risk assessment protocol, infection control requirements (ICRA), hazard awareness and quality control. DON ALLEN, P.E., LEED A.P., an internationally known expert on cold-formed steel structural design, has given presentations on steel design on four continents in the last three years. As director of engineering for Super Stud Building Products, headquartered in Edison, N.J., Allen is involved with hundreds of CFS projects each year. He was recently involved in the design and construction of two loadbearing CFS structures in Nigeria. With a special interest in the structural role of materials in sustainable construction, Allen is a LEED Accredited Professional, a member of American Society of Civil Engineers Structural Engineering Institute Committee on Sustainability and many other industry related organizations.

J.PATRICK BOYD, P.E., is the owner of J. Patrick Boyd Consulting Engineers specializing in design calculations and engineered drawings for the use of cold-formed steel framing in commercial applications. His past experience includes positions with KHS & S Contractors, Ray Boyd Plaster & Drywall, Inc., and Delta Steel Buildings Co. Boyd wad president of AWCI from 200203, served two terms on the AWCI Board of Directors, had been Chairman of numerous committees and was awarded AWCI’s highest honor, the Pinnacle Award, in 2013.

MICHELLE MCINTYRE has over 20 years of experience partnering with clients to create safer and healthier conditions in their workplace, navigating the many challenges of balancing safety regulations with budgetary restrictions. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional and currently the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at GFA International with offices across Florida. She is a nation presenter on silica and many other environmental topics and has supported clients in industrial, commercial, educational, healthcare, and construction sectors in complex matters across the country.

RON PENTECOST, Ron is the Safety Director for Lee Drywall in Ft. Myers, Florida and has over 30 years experience in the safety related field. Instructor for CPR/AED & First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, OSHA 10/30 and Various Equipment, Lifts, etc. Previous instructor at the OSHA Training Institute, Advanced Safety Certificate and Industrial Hygiene Technician Certificate.

JOANN POLLEY is President of Infinite Ideas and Designs, an award-winning full-service graphic design company, founded in 1996 in Orlando, Fl. IID concentrates primarily on maintaining brand continuity in every format of presentation, be it digital and/or print.

GREG SCHOPPMAN, Principal and Florida Consulting Manager, FMI, Tampa, Fl. As a principal with FMI, Gregg specializes in the area of productivity and project management. He also leads FMI’s project management consulting practice. In addition to these responsibilities, Gregg also leads the consulting management group of FMI’s Florida office Gregg was named one of the tope 25 consultants of 2014 by Consulting Magazine, receiving the highest number of nominations for that year’s recipient group.
