Negotiating the Minefield is a free educational group programme that helps parents and caregivers to communicate and connect with their teens more ef fectively.

We of fer evening programmes for parents and caregivers and/or other significant adults in the teen’s life e.g. step parents, grandparents, over six, 3 hour sessions.

The programme covers the following: ʝ Adolescent brain development and developmental stages.

ʝ Parental styles and roles, support systems, boundaries and self care.

ʝ Effective communication tips and tools to encourage your teen to talk, to feel heard and engage their co-operation.

ʝ Explore consequences and choices and utilise tools to help your teen learn from both.

ʝ Explore ways of having difficult conversations about sex and drugs.

ʝ Actively parenting and feeling good about your role.
