HENJL, the exclusive 100% MADE IN FRANCE fashion brand of only Alps woolen products, has selected PICTURE for its 2016 collaboration.HENJL is the story of 2 friends passionate about knitting development and the out-doors. After having managed productions for big brands for many years in Asia, Henry & Jean Louis have finally decided to create their own brand by relocating some industrial knowledge to France.We have been impressed by the tenacity and energy Henry and Jean Louis have in-vested into their project. We have developed with them a very high end outfit which is a mix of our unique design and HENJL’s relocated investment.MAISON PICTURE/ HENJL is a capsule collection of limited edition products.

HIGH QUALITY WOOL

The yarns we knit are spun by Schoeller®, Austria. The virgin wool we use comes from Merino sheep. It is 100% natural, untreated and gua-ranteed mulesing free.The yarn is Bluesign® certified which ensures high environmental standards, the absence of hazardous materials (especially chlorine), high quality and complies with environmental, health and safety (EHS) requirements.

Virgin wool fibres are naturally resistant to mechanical actions, do not soil quickly and their anti-bacterial feature limits significantly the opportunity for odour to develop during practice of intense activities. Therefore this fibre is easy to maintain and to clean.About 80% of untreated wool fibre’s volume is air which makes it an excellent thermal insulator. In this respect their weight/volume perfor-mance ratio is significantly higher than many synthetic fibres.Wool is an ideal thermo-regulator. It traps heat produced by the body while wicking its moisture away. Its heat input avoids the sen-sation of cooling off after an effort. Above all, wool is a naturally biodegradable fibre.
