and character of a property as it appeared at a particular period of time by means of

the removal of features from other periods in its history and reconstruction of missing

features from the restoration period. The limited and sensitive upgrading of mechanical,

electrical, and plumbing systems and other code-required work to make properties

Grout is a construction material used to embed rebars in masonry walls, connect

sections of pre-cast concrete, fill voids and seal joints (like those between tiles). Grout

is generally a mixture of water, cement, sand, often color tint, chemical and sometimes

fine gravel. It is applied as a thick emulsion and hardens over time, much like its

close relative mortar. Unlike other structural pastes such as plaster or joint compound,

grout, when mixed and applied correctly, creates a waterproof seal as well.

For a small field, permeation grouting creates a vast literature which offers a bewildering

array of references to those trying to gain an initial insight into this rapidly changing

FOAM CONCRETE

Waterproofing is the system of making an object relatively unaffected by water or

resisting the ingress of water under specified conditions. Macarav Infrastructures

India Pvt. Ltd. understands that Waterproofing Systems is one of the major challenges

for designers, engineers and construction companies alike is to protect buildings from

the damaging effects of water. MIIPL's philosophy recognizes that while waterproofing

protection can be a relatively minor component of overall construction costs, it is a

vital ingredient to successful project completion and determines the building's

longevity. The Company also understands that the stakeholders are looking for "tried

& true" systems and that one of the critical ingredients of any system is the installation.

In construction, a structure is waterproofed with the use of membranes and coatings

to protect contents as well as protecting structural integrity. In construction,

waterproofing is a fundamental aspect of creating a building envelope, which is a

controlled environment. The roof covering materials, siding, foundations, walls and

all of the various penetrations through these surfaces need to be water-resistant, damp

resistant and waterproof.
