Charles Chisholm, Chief Executive Officer of Future Group, has

been in the cleaning industry since 1989 when he started his

own small business gaining many contracts in and around

York and the Northern areas including specialist one-off and

carpet cleans. In 2003 Charles formed Future Cleaning

Services; he is the largest shareholder of the company.

Future Cleaning Services has developed a reputation as a

supplier of excellence through focussed service delivery,

unparalleled quality assurance and extensive communication

channels. Subsequently the company has grown organically,

providing national coverage to numerous sectors of the

market.

In 2006, Future Cleaning Services bought 50% shares in MCN

York, a company that specialised in carpet and upholstery

cleaning. The name was immediately changed to Future

Carpet Cleaning Services and it is now a valued subsidiary,

providing a wide range of support services, from window

cleaning to high pressure power washing.

In 2007 Future Cleaning Services made a further acquisition

purchasing A to Z Cleaning Services (South West), a

well-established company in the South West of England. A

to Z has slowly been merged into the Group and in 2011 the

company became Future Cleaning Services (South West).

Our system is truck-mounted and fully self-contained allowing us to

it’s brick work, block work, or cladding, along with many other hard

surface areas, we have the skills, experience and knowledge to

We also provide high-pressure power washing, working with

the Aquila TD352 self-contained trailer-mounted system

which is capable of running at 5000 psi and up to 150

degree centigrade. This is the best product on the market

and is the preferred choice of many local authorities.

Carpet and Upholstery CleaningEffective cleaning is proven to prolong the life of carpets and upholstery, delaying the time between expensive refits.

We specialise in professional carpet and upholstery cleaning

of high capacity seating venues and mass carpeted areas

such as cinemas, theatres, bingo halls, offices and local

authority properties, providing full UK coverage.

We operate from a fleet of modified vehicles fitted with the

Hydramaster truck-mounted water extraction cleaning

plant. This is a self-sufficient unit with its own on-board

power, and fresh and waste water tanks. Each vehicle is fully

equipped with 200m of vacuum and solution hose, hand

tools for seat cleaning and the RX20 rotary carpet cleaner.

The RX20 uses five vacuum/spray jet heads, each

independently suspended by a flexible spring arm. As the

RX20 glides over the carpet, the rotating action on the five

vacuum parts and five spray-jets create 650 cleaning passes

each minute.

As the machine sweeps from side to side, the

cleaning head rotates twice a second, cleaning each

carpet fibre from five different angles. The incredible

scrubbing action releases soil while fluffing up and

restoring the carpet. The results are astounding,

especially on stains and heavily soiled carpet.

Typically a truck-mounted system is 20 times more

powerful than a portable unit. Unlike a portable unit

where the cleaning agent is added to the water tank,

the truck-mount method is to pre-spray the cleaning

agent and rinse out through the solution line,

leaving no alkaline content in the fibres. This is

vitally important because any alkaline left in the

fibres attracts dirt, shortening the timescale

between cleans.

We have worked within the cinema industry for over

18 years. One of the most challenging buildings we

have tackled is Cineworld on Renfrew Street in

Glasgow, the tallest cinema in the world.

We also carry out the carpet and upholstery

cleaning of over 600 pubs for a prestigious and

well-known client in this market sector. As you can

imagine the cleaning of the carpets in this

environment is most definitely a challenge but our

machine is able to clean them with ease.

Cineworld in Glasgow is in the Guinness Book of Records for being the highest cinema in the world; if it was an apartment block it would be over 23 floors high. This is still not too tall an order for Future Carpet Cleaning Services: with careful planning and set-up, we clean all areas of the building from our vehicles situated at ground level. The cinema has 18 screens and can seat 4,232 people. Two crews clean all areas of the building within four working nights!


Window Cleaning

As crucial support to our contract cleaning services we can provide essential window cleaning, both internally and externally, from hand-height level to high-level cleans.

We use a hot reach and wash system which is the most

effective method of commercial window cleaning that is on

the market to date. This heated water-fed pole system uses

100% pure water, which evaporates naturally leaving a

sparkling clean finish.

A vital piece of equipment is the glass fibre NTech CXTEL

water-fed pole, which has proven itself in the industry for

many years to become very highly regarded for quality and

durability.

Gutter cleaning is another feature within this service

provision. Having your gutters cleaned once or twice a year

will help to avoid serious and costly issues which arise from

blockages such as damp or water damage.

We provide a complete service from and including site

surveys, preparation of risk assessments and method

statements through to project and on-site management.

All of our operatives are IPAF-trained and have undergone

certification in the safe use of harness and hydraulic

platforms. Having vast knowledge and experience in using

As further support to our extensive cleaning services we

have a grounds maintenance division. Our in-house

specialist teams work full-time in this area, enabling our

clients to streamline their contract services through one

provider. Working closely with clients we are now able to

manage and maintain varied landscaping and grounds

maintenance projects into cost-efficient packages which

Road SweepingWe have a road sweeper hire division that provides national coverage to the UK.

We operate a fleet of five road sweepers which included Johnston VT651 and the VT650 DAF road sweepers and a high performance stocks sweeper.

All of our sweepers offer a high performance pick-up, even

on the most demanding tasks such as post-construction

work.

The dual-sweep configuration and the maximum 3.6m

sweep ensures superb coverage per hour – and with high

capacity hoppers, water systems and fuel tanks, the VT650,

VT651 and the S4600 are designed to stay at work for longer.

All of our sweepers provide an ideal balance between

performance and environmental impact with applications to

suit a full range of sweeping environments. Two drive

options provide outstanding vacuum performance enabling

completion to a high standard no matter what the job.

The side brush equipment is of heavy-duty construction and

has brush speed control as well as ground pressure

regulation. The power-down function enables the operator

to really scrub the road hard and remove rubbed-in dirt.

Several of our sweepers are fitted with ATEX-approved

valves and spark arresters for contracts of that requirement.

designed for the Future Group as an adaptation of our

reach-and-wash window cleaning systems. Being a system

free from chemicals it is non-corrosive and residue-free,

removing the likelihood of the streaks and smears which are

so often left behind following this type of cleaning.

Ship CleaningFor over 20 years we have undertaken the cleaning of ships and boats from our offices in the South West. We provide these services nationwide.

This type of cleaning has been undertaken by the company

for over 20 years and over the years we have developed the

cleaning into multi-type services which have been

undertaken over a variety of vessels.

Future Group offers an antifouling service which is vital for

the overall performance of your boat. Over a period of years

foul will build-up and become flaky and uneven. This will

cause unnecessary drag through the water resulting in a loss

of speed and an increase in fuel consumption. We use a blast

method to remove all traces of fouling, leaving the surface

clean and ready for the application of coatings.

Once antifouling is completed, we encourage all of our clients to use AGlaze. AGlaze is a protective sealant that protects surfaces from common causes of degradation and colour fading (ultraviolet light, acid rain, atmospheric pollution, salt, snow and bird lime). The AGlaze actually bonds to the surface creating a brilliant, high gloss protective barrier, meaning dirt and pollutants can be easily removed. This chemical ensures continuous shine and protects the gel coat.
