By completing an H&H Accredited Training qualification, students will be provided with knowledge and practical skills required for working within aged care, disability services or home & community environments.
This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.
Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.
Recognition of Prior Learning /Credit TransferIf a student has completed any previous study, they are entitled to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and/or Credit Transfer (CT). Further information is available at the college.
Qualifications will be issued to the student once they achieve competencies and full payment has been made, as per the terms and conditions included with our enrolment form.

Workers may be required to demonstrate leadership skills in a variety of roles. This is a great opportunity for students.
