Fundraising should be just that — FUN! Follow these steps to help your fundraiser be successful:

S T E P 1 :

Star t a fundraiser. Which type of fundraiser speaks to you? Do you have a milestone around the corner, or do you want to hold an event? Maybe you want to show appreciation to a CHOC care team or want to give meaning to a 5K. Pick something fun that you’ll enjoy — after all, this is FUNdraising!

S T E P 2 :

Donate to your page. Donating to your own fundraiser shows that you are not only asking for suppor t, but that you are giving suppor t too. You’re committed, and you show it.

S T E P 3 :

Share on social media. Spread the word to your network to extend your reach. People love to help make a positive impact and sharing your story will bring awareness and help make your cause stand out.

S T E P 4 :

Email family, friends and colleagues. Reach out to your inner circle. Don’t be afraid to ask. Family, friends and colleagues want to suppor t you. Tell your story, share impact, and send news and updates.

S T E P 5 :

Thank and send updates. Let your suppor ters know they’re appreciated. Send a personal thank you message to each of your donors or give them a shout-out on social media. Acknowledge that they are making a difference.

No. There is no minimum requirement to fundraise for CHOC Children’s Foundation. Set any fundraising goal that you are comfor table with, whether it’s $100 or $100,000. Every campaign makes a difference!

D O I G E T T O C H O O S E W H E R E M Y F U N D S G O ?

Yes! When you star t a fundraiser, you will have the option of choosing where you want your funds to go.

A R E D O N AT I O N S TA X - D E D U C T I B L E ?

All monetary donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
