United Way Funding Details• Support cornerstone issue of education, economic stability, or health.• Most require nonprofit status for at least 2 years.• Apply to your own local United Way for funding. • Although application dates and details vary, expect to provide:
• Project plan• Budget• Staff and leadership qualifications• Tax information demonstrating nonprofit status• Signed pledge not to use United Way funds for lobbying
