systems. This integrated system includes:

AlargeitemsReuseArea(atAmblesideEcoStation)
Anenvironmentallyresponsiblewasteprocessing and disposal
system.This includes:
A composting facility that
convertsorganicsinyourgarbageintocompost
Recyclingfacilitieswhererecyclablesaresorted and sent to
market
TheEdmontonBiofuelsFacilitythatonceoperating in 2013, will
convert wastethatcantberecycledorcompostedinto methanol.
The main reason for our success is
theparticipationofresidentsintheCityswastemanagement programs,
including the work ofhundreds of volunteers.

ServicesTheCityisseekingpublicinputonveoptionsto fund waste
management services
providedtosinglefamilyhomes.Threeoftheveoptions
have a lower rate for households that set out lowervolumes of
waste for collection.
TheresultofyourinputwillbepresentedtoCityCounciltohelpthemdecideifthecurrentsystemoffundingwastemanagementservicesshouldbechanged.
