Port Office Dining Room & Bar Our Dining Room & Bar is suited to larger dining groups requiring the

restaurant exclusively. Suited for a sit down dining event for either lunch or

dinner, or a larger group for a cocktail event. This area incorporates the wine

room and courtyard and has its own street access and toilets.

Blue Room Located at the back of the restaurant this room offers complete privacy. Suited

for a sit down dining event for either lunch or dinner.

Public Bar Exclusive The Port Office Hotel’s Public Bar is equipped with its own private bathrooms

and private outside undercover courtyard area. It also has the capability of

holding live entertainment, photo booths, staging and other external

entertainment.

Clancy Room Forming part of the Public Bar, this private function area is completely

sectioned off for privacy with curtains. The furniture set up in this space is

Balcony Bar Located upstairs on level 1, this fully self-contained private function space has

the capabilities to hold live entertainment, photo booths, casino tables, staging

and other externally hired entertainment and is suited for any type of event –

a private Christmas party, product launch, exclusive corporate cocktail style

event, corporate or social ball a large private gathering or a corporate theatre

style event.

consists of direct access to the main bar, and access to its own veranda on

Edward Street.

Product Bar Tab, Table Account, All Inclusive Package

*Please note: cash bar sales do not contribute to a minimum spend

Bar Tab / Table Account This option is very flexible in allowing you to choose your own

Bar Tab Dollar Limit, a limit you would like the Duty Manager to

update you at, as well as your own specific selected Bar Tab

products only available to your guests on that particular Bar Tab.

A predetermined number of Drink Tickets can be pre-purchased in advance –

The Port Office is happy to provide you with the following hire items:

Registration table or Cake/Gift table w/ white linen tablecloth ($10 - $30)

Door Host - $30.00 per hour

DJ Hire - $150.00 per hour

Microphone (2 X roving microphones available – only in exclusive areas) $20 each

Laptop Hire $50 each

Staging platform 1m X 2m - (2 X pieces of staging available) $100

Beverage Waiters - $35.00 pp per hour (minimum of 2 hours per waiter required)

Allocated Security for your function only - $50.00 hour (minimum of 4 hours per guard)

White Linen tablecloths (min of 2 X cloths required per table) - $10.00 each

Tea Light candles & glass votives - $1.50 each

AV set up $50

DJ Hire (Standard Package) $150 per hour, 4hr minimum. Other packages available upon request

PLEASE NOTE Please note: some of these items are available for hire with private room use only – not available

for private sectioned off area booking.

Please liaise with your Functions Manager for your available options

A laptop or usb stick is required for all presentations requiring the use of the plasma screens

For all beverage packages beverage waiters are provided free of charge for the first half hour

Any damages or surplus cleaning required will incur an additional fee

Music / Entertainment

The sound system throughout the entire venue is capable of playing Nightlife.

Nightlife is a continuous playing selection of pre-programmed background music

which is provided for all functions free of charge.

For exclusive function bookings you are welcome to book a DJ exclusively for your

event, or alternatively you are welcome to provide your own live entertainment

(excluding drums) or an IPod with your own music selection for your private Event.

This option is only available for exclusive bookings in the Restaurant Exclusive,

and Balcony Bar Exclusive.

Decorations / Theming Should you wish to decorate your allocated function area or private function room

yourself, you will need to pre-arrange room access prior to your event start time, with

the Functions Manager at your earliest convenience. You will also need to advise of

any expected deliveries or company’s booked to theme your function area.

NO items can be fixed to any walls

NO blu tak or sticky tape is allowed under any circumstances.

NO confetti, confetti filled balloons or party poppers allowed

Rules and Regulations apply to all theming and decorations
