AGILITY MATCH We will have two agility fun matches at the WDTC agility building this Fall. The first will occur on Sunday, September 23, 2018, and the second on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018. The matches will be run as much like a trial as possible to help you, and your dog, recreate that experience. Therefore, you will have the same requirements as at a trial, dogs in crates, dogs on lead except when in the ring or using the practice jump, no treats in the ring. We will allow toys, however. For those members that are electing to compete in the ACT1 or ACT2 tests (i.e., earn a leg towards the ACT1 and/or ACT2 titles), no toys will be allowed in the ring. We will measure dogs. If you don’t have your permanent height card and want to practice having your dog measured this will be a good opportunity. The Fun Matches will start at 9 a.m. The running order will be: Excellent Standard Novice Standard ACT2 ACT1 Excellent JWW Novice JWW Dogs currently participating at the OPEN level are also encouraged to participate in the excellent courses. For the September 23 Fun Match, We will use courses designed by Sherry Jefferson (our Judge for the WHAT trials on Nov. 1-4, 2018). For the Fun Match on Oct.28, I will try to find courses designed by Rebecca L Schnulle (our judge for the WWAT trials on Nov. 15-18, 2018). You may enter as many dogs as you like. With the exception of the ACT courses, you may enter the same dog multiple times on the same course. For the ACT course, you may only enter a dog 1 time. You may run the whole courses or work parts of the courses. Cost: $5 per dog per course for WDTC members; $7 for non-members – 2 minutes of course time. Entry limits: 100 runs per day. For those that desire to earn ACT legs, there will be an additional $5 AKC filing fee. If the form is emailed please make arrangements to pay the entry fee by Friday, September 14, 2018 for the September 23, 2018 Fun Match and by Friday, October 19, 2018 for the Oct. 28, 2018 Fun Match.

Day of match entries may be taken depending on the number of entries received by September 14 th/October 19th.

I will also need workers for the day – you can be a worker and enter the match, just let me know what course(s) you are running and your jump height. The workers needed are as follows:
