Project Overview
Multimedia is helping enrich teaching practices across the globe creating a more diverse, interactive and engaging learning experience, straying from traditional norms of text based learning to a more interactive, visual apparatuses.
Timeless Journey is an augmented reality book that aims to educate a user on key events and character involved in contemporary history. Please join us as we travel through history exploring some of the most prolific events that have shaped the last centuary of our planet!
Problem & Audience
Recent studies have suggested that current methods of teaching (i.e text based learning )are vastly outdated and leave many learners at a disadvantage due to a ciriculum not offering accessibility to varying learning styles that work better for other. There are currently several type of learners

Why this is needed?
The average person only remembers 20% of what they hear and 30% of what they see, but up to 90% of what they personally experience.
As a result, VR educational materials provide the scenario needed to build the attention gap, helping students to become more attentive during lessons.
Cheap and accessible way for users to learn or brush up on history while offering an entertaining aspects of the novelity of AR for a younger audience.
Unity3D
This is the primary tool tha will be used in creation of this product. This game engine will allow for created of the main application.
Vuforia
Using Unity3D with vuforia will allow for the creation of crossplatform AR apps. Vuforia is the primary component that
enables AR creation.
Adobe
The CC suite will be used for the creation of all physical assests
that will be needed i.e the childrens book which will allow
for AR enablement
