What is fun down? It is important to see positivity in whatever situation we are in,
because hope is the only way to life. As a family we are spending most of the time in our homes…..but wait a minute? Let us not forget that our little children are in their formative years where in they learn and develop to an optimum level.

Cuddling time Cuddling your child for 8 to 10 seconds releases OXYTOCIN, the so
called “feel good chemicals”, in your body….It’s a great way to start off the day on a positive note…!
Prayer: to stay positive

Brushing and Freshen up: enhances values of hygiene and cleanliness It is a cleansing act before the beginning of a brand new day
Brush..brush..brush your teeth morning and at night,
gently brush them up and down, for sparkling teeth so white….!
Wash…wash..wash..your face, makes you feel so fresh , splash water and pat them dry. Now you look fresh and nice….!

Stay clean……Stay safe Hygiene is important for maintaining a good health. It means the practice of keeping ourselves clean and tidy. To keep our home, work
places and surroundings clean is also (HYGIENE). It is important for our good health.
Helping hands It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught
them to do for themselves and their family, that will make them successful human beings!
Let your child take up responsibilities like laying the table, serving water or food.
Teach them and involve them in simple household chores, it helps them to learn responsibilities and become independent.

Screen time
One hour of screen time….half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the evening.
Age appropriate apps/TV shows will keep your child entertained and engaged…!
Remember not to exceed the recommended screen time!!
We recommend the parent to accompany the child and strike a conversation with reference to what they are engaged with. This will transform the screen time into an educative one for the child.
Talk time Initiate a conversation and help them to respond about what are
they going to do today
Help them to share their feelings
Initiate them to share what makes them happy and what makes them sad
Initiate a conversation with them to share about their favorite color or dish
Let them share and express themselves

Nutrition Investing in early childhood nutrition is a surefire strategy. The
returns are incredibly high.
You don’t have to cook fancy or masterpieces, just good food from fresh ingredients.
Help your child with 5 to 6 small meals a day.
Recommended water intake: 1 to 3 years- 5 to 6 cups and 4 to 8 years- 7 to 8 cups.
Academics Your child will get an opportunity to clear his/ her concept related to
theme, number and letter.
There are some engaging story sessions, rhymes videos for developing listening speaking skills in your child.
Toy time Children have a full time occupation, its called Play!
Let them be occupied by it from their early years until their twilight years!
Try and identify your child’s favorite toy and utilize it when your child is in distress!
Music time Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the
imagination and life to everything.
When children listen to music from the day of their birth and keep listening to good music as they grow, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance.
Specially now when we are watching negative news on TV, people falling sick and suffering, unknowingly it develops negative feelings in young children and music is the best way to heal.
Afternoon nap It provides much needed downtime that aids the important physical
and mental development that happens in early childhood.
2 to 2 and half hr sleep in the afternoon keep children from getting overtired, which can affect their moods and make it harder for them to sleep at night.
It is healthy for children to rest in the afternoon because it leads to brain development to an optimum level.
Exercise: Helps you to stay fit and healthy
Improves blood circulation and boosts immunity
Movement of any part of our body is an exercise
Cardiovascular exercises helps you to stay fit, helps in proper intake of oxygen and child also rests well at night.
Hugs: It keeps you both Happy!! Gathering your child in your arms for a hug helps to uplift your
spirits. Hugs function in a similar fashion to meditation and laughter.
Giving your child a hug could also help you to discipline your child in a positive way when they do something wrong. Once the child allows the body to relax with a hug, explain with firmness what they did was wrong and you want them to behave well.

Children it is important to stay at home to control or stop the spread of corona virus. That is why mummy and daddy are not going to office and you are not going to school or going down to play.
Many community helpers like the doctor’s, nurses policemen, sweepers, garbage collectors, etc are working to make everything alright. Till all is well we will stay home, stay clean and stay safe!
