Adult SupervisionO Teachers and staff are on duty at
7:45 a.m. and after school until 3:45 p.m.
O Offices are open from 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
O Students staying after school need to be with a teacher or staff member.
O All staff is on duty during all passing periods.
O All administration is on duty during all lunches.
BusesO AISD transportation will post bus finder on
the AISD Website. We will also post this on the Fulmore website. Type in your address to bus finder for your pick-up and drop-off times.
O There will be late buses this year to take students home at 5:30 p.m. who attend after-school activities.O Students will need to get a pass from their
activity sponsor/coach/director
Buses: Helpful HintsO Magnet Office supports buses and serves as a
liaison with the transportation department.O Students should know what schools are near
their home for late bus service.O Students need to know their home addresses
and phone numbers so we can assist them.O Bus passes need to be requested 24 hours
ahead of time.O Buses are not available for residences within 2
miles of school.
SchedulingO Student schedules will be mailed the
week before school startsO They will also receive a 2nd copy in their
SEL class on the first day of school
O ALL schedule changes must be completed by using a “Schedule Change Request Form”. Changes will only be made when the change is academically necessary.
School Supplies & Planners
O Supply lists were sent home with students during 6th Grade Transitions Week
O Students will be given a planner on the first day of school, that contains the student handbook with information about school policies/dress code/bell schedule/etc.O Also found online
Positive Behavior Supports
O Falcon Stickers allow students to eat outside for 6 weeksO Grades of A’s and B’s for 6 weeks
O Falcon Bucks earn outside lunch passes and can purchase items at the school store
O Falcon Pride Awards are given for positive behavior and effort
CounselorsO Students will meet with the counselors during
the first few weeks of school to discuss how to get a counseling pass, topics they may want to discuss with a counselor, etc.
O Campus Based Counseling Referral Center
O 504 and Special Education Annual Meetings will begin after the start of the school year
Student Support TeamsO Assistant principals and counselors
are teamed by grade level and loop with students.
O Core academic teachers are teamed by grade level and have common time off on Friday to support family meetings.
O Contact the magnet office or your assistant principal to arrange a Friday meeting to support your student.
How To Get Involved!
O Parents and students can now monitor student’s grades using the Parent Cloud (on AISD website)
O Parents can volunteer as a “Club Sponsor”O We currently have the GT Club, Marathon High
Kids, and several band and athletic groups that meet after school, but we would love to add to our “after-school” activities!! Please see Renny Swan if you are interested in sponsoring an after-school group on campus!!
