A Message from Your Senior Club
President, Pauline Aguero: The New Year is marching along, and I would like to
challenge myself and you to get involved and try a new
activity. There are many ways to meet new people and
try new things such as joining our class on Staying
Mentally Sharp or an exercise class that will address your
concerns. Don’t be afraid to go in and “observe” the class
to see if it’s for you. I will be visiting different classes as
well to see what they are about and will be reporting on
them throughout the year.
If you like to travel, stop by to see the Travel Office (See
Travel section in this publication). I was impressed with
the two presentations that I saw for Our World
Travelogue. You should definitely check them out!
Our Polly’s Pies Social was a great success and Pauline
Baker has scheduled another Polly’s Pies Dine-In in May.
More information to come.
Check out our Human Interest Feature in this issue. We
are still looking for future stories and volunteers to
participate. If interested, stop by the Senior Club Office
for more information.
Let’s take a moment to celebrate the lives of . . .

Fullerton Senior Club Human Interest Story
I didn’t know why my parents were always reading me Hans
Christian Anderson fairytales until later in my life. My
grandmother’s maiden name was Anderson. We were
distant relatives to the fairytale writer. I am proud to be related
to a great author. ‘The Ugly Ducking’ is, after all, my favorite
fairytale.” - Senior Club Director, Paulette MacGill
