By JOHN NELSON Tailgate News Editor The Gurdon Go-Devils lost a heartbreaker to the Bradley Bears in a home game match up on Friday, April 2 by a final score of 7- 6. Head Coach Austen Halliday said his team led 4-0 in the first, but was down 5-7 in the bottom of the seventh. “We fought hard, but it just did not happen,” Coach Halliday said. “We are 5-5 for the season and 1-2 in our conference. Josh Taylor had 2 RBIs and had 12 strike outs in 6 innings of pitching.” The coach said Keihnan Paden, #25, is the only senior on this team was to have been hon- ored during senior night cere- monies on Monday, April 12. Against Bradley, Paden had one RBI and his team mate, #11 Dane Hughes, also had an RBI. The Go-Devils played Hampton April 12, will finish their season on the road. and play in the district tournament April 26. The Gurdon Go-Devils lost a
