The Megapixel Vari Focal lenses from Fujinon are the

safe choice for the surveillance of railway stations, airports,

casinos and other public facilities. Thanks to their high

megapixel resolution they provide images in HD quality that

make it possible to enlarge even the smallest details and

recognise them clearly. Therefore, these lenses are the

perfect choice for the identification of objects or persons.

In addition, the Day+Night technology from Fujinon ensures

that you get sharp images around the clock.

First choice for high-resolution cameras

High-resolution megapixel or HD cameras are increasingly

used in modern surveillance systems. In order to make full

use of the capabilities of such cameras it is necessary to use

special high-resolution lenses that support the resolution of

the camera. Fujinon offers just such lenses in a continuously

growing range for 1/2" and 1/3" sensors. The models of the

Megapixel Vari Focal series are available with manual or

automatic iris control and cover focal lengths from the wide

end up to telephoto ranges.

Image precision with 3 megapixels

The Megapixel Vari Focal lenses from Fujinon are available

with a resolution of 3 megapixels and deliver images in HD

quality. This means that even the smallest areas such as the

face of a passer-by or the number plate of a vehicle that

has attracted attention can be enlarged further subsequently

when viewing the image material and examined in more detail.

Brighter and sharper images – by day and night

As with all Fujinon lenses, the Megapixel Vari Focal lenses are characterised by their high level of optical quality, and also

by their large maximum aperture values of up to F1.2. The application of aspherical lens technology, as well as using glass

parts with low dispersion, results in visibly sharper images right up to the edges. In effect, this also ensures excellent transmis-

sion values. Moreover, the Day+Night technology allows for reliable surveillance around the clock. As a matter of fact, the infrared

correction that has been applied to these lenses compensates for the focus shift between the various wavelengths of the visible and

of the infrared wave lengths. This results in sharp images at any time of the day or at night – without the need to refocus.
