TAQA Gas is responsible for all gas operations and overseas the company’s 4 natural gas distribution concessions and cascades into several owned distribution companies.

Transmission & distribution of natural gas to more than 1.2 Million residential, commercial, industrial customers in 42 cities across Egypt, as well as natural gas works in the MENA regions is the core business of TAQA Gas.

TAQA Gas distributes more than 6BCM of natural gas annually with an existing capacity of distributing 8BCM/year.

TAQA Gas converts yearly more than 150,000 customers as part of the government's ambitious plan to expand the natural gas uses to residential customers.

From surveys to engineering, procurement, construction works, marketing & distribution, O&M, billing & collections, TAQA Gas covers the whole downstream gas value chain.

TAQA Gas also manage & operates a natural gas filling stations under the brand name (Master Gas) as well as Compressed natural gas

(CNG Mobile Services) for clients in remote areas out of the natural gas networks reach.

With more than 40% of the share of the private LDC’s market in Egypt, TAQA Gas is one of the country’s largest and most diversified private-sector companies in the gas distribution & transmission sectors.

TAQA Oil Marketing is the first privately owned Egyptian company with a license to supply petroleum products. Starting its operation in 2008, TAQA Oil marketing became one of the fastest growing companies in the Egyptian market and has since then streamed 56 fuel stations till end of 2019.

TAQA Oil Marketing distributes the full range of refined fuel products and recently, TAQA Arabia joined ventured with Castrol (a BP subsidiary) to manufacture and sell Castrol oils & lubricants, while keeping TAQA Oil Marketing the sole distributor of Castrol products.

TAQA Oil Marketing streamed 56 fuel stations scattered in prime location all over Egypt, and with an aggressive plan to stream new stations to meet the market’s demand in the busy delta, upper Egypt & the newly established road networks.

TAQA Oil Marketing has sold over 750 Million liters of refined products as of end of 2018 including Gasoline 95, Gasoline 92, Gasoline 80 and Diesel the company also operates 70 Castrol shops streamed to date selling exclusively Castrol branded lubes and oil products to both the commercial vehicles and passenger cars customers.

TAQA Oil Marketing owns and operates a 60 ML fuel storage terminal in Suez serving fuel supply for TAQA Stations and other players in the market.

TAQA Power constructs, operates and maintains power generation plants and distribution networks for the oil & gas, industrial, residential, commercial and tourism sectors across the country.

Its track record includes more than 100 MW of power generation projects, distribution of 500MW, and distribution O&M services for 400MW.

TAQA Solar, TAQA Power’s newly established Renewable Energy arm has been one of the first companies to finalize a 65MW PV solar power plant in Benban (Aswan)-part of the biggest PV solar park in the world with a total investment reaching 75 Million US Dollars and funded by the IFC along with other development banks. The project is Under the Egyptian governments feed-in tariff program and started commercial operation in Feb 2019.
