    Fort Irwin is a world class training center for America's Soldiers, it's located approximately 37 miles NEof Barstow, California, in the High Mojave Desert midway between Las Vegas, Nevada, and Los

    Sets up banquet areas, private parties and outside facilities for formal dinner shows, luaus, meetings,

    conferences, weddings, etc. involving the physical assembly movement and arrangement of furniture

    and equipment.

    DUTIES:

    Sets up stages, dance floors, pianos, runways; assembling required items, and arranging the areas.

    Restores rooms or areas; removes, transports and s tores property and equipment. Operates a

    complex electric ground cart for movement of food, supplies and equipment. Performs tasks that

    require significant manual skill, very heavy physical effort, several steps, phases and detailed

    procedures following drawings, specifications while utilizing knowledge of project requirements.

    Performs specific duties in the sound and light operations for hotel dinner shows.

    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

    Demonstrated work experience that included the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform

    the duties of this position to include interpreting instructions and specifications to perform tasks that

    require movement as well as the transporting of prope rty and equipment. Ability to use and maintain

    tools and equipment.

    Conditions of employment:

    1. A one-year probationary period may be required upon selection.

    2. You must meet a ll qualification requirements by the c losing date o f this announcement.

    3. E-Verify: If you are selected for this position, the documentation that you present for purposes of

    completing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Form I-9 will be verified through the DHS "E-

    Verify" system. Federal Law requires DHS to use the E-Verify system to verify the employment

    discrepancies identified by the system as a condition of continued employment. The U.S. Department
