This dam consists of crazir4 and/or cracking of the sealnt from the otside tip inward; hoMver, te! depth of the dama cannot be visually dotominead. An snalysis of the ceaning solution being used on the sealant (denatured I ,ohol) revealed the prsence of a small amunt of Estone (a chemical pro-,flited by Conax from use on the celants). lowever, other penetr.anrif not subjected to the clean4 n !luid ahow the sae t-pe of dams~

As stated in their lettsn to TVA dated June 30, 1986, :noas ',as determined that the subject condition will not i-air the qualifica.lon nor integrity of the penetration fedthroughs. As such, no corrective actions are necessary and TVA has dispop Itioned nonconforming condition report (CR) W-356-P to "use-as-is." Accordingly, WA no longer considers 10 CFR 50.55(e) to be applicab!e to this item.
