Safe Space Scan Technologies Launches Affordable Non-Contact Automatic Body Infrared Temperature Detection Scanner with Mask Spotting Compliance FeatureJune 7, 2020 by Press Release
DELRAY BEACH, FLA - Safe Space Scan technologies announced the launch and availability of its new infrared temperature scanning technology for use in complying with CDC standards for the reopening of U.S. businesses. Health and senior care facilities and government buildings during the COVID1- 9 pandemic crisis. The 3S07T free-standing scanner features advanced proprietary, German-engineered technology is FCC certified and can scan for elevated temperature and mask compliance in less than one second. Those without masks and/or with an elevated body temperature will receive an audio alert, while notifying the business or building management of the occurrence. It is easy to set up and can be used on a pedestal, counter or be permanently bolted.
Typical locations include the entrance to a building or retail location, at a security desk, elevator and more. Basically, wherever employees and the public can gain access is where this device can be placed.
FSD3 Athletics Re-Entry Plan• We will follow the SCHSL guidelines for Phase 1 of the re-entry plan. The SCHSL will notify us with guidelines for Phase
2.• The 1st 10 days were solo exercise only in groups of ten with social distancing. Sport-specific athletic equipment may be
used after the 1st 10 days, but not shared. • All student-athletes must have a new updated physical and district-approved waiver on file before participating.
• All coaches must wear masks at all times. Student-athletes must wear masks unless engaged in exercise.
• The LCHS Athletic Department has purchased 360 masks, 10 gallons of Cramer Disinfectant, multiple sprayers for cleaning equipment, and 3 infrared thermometers. Mr. Alexander has provided boxes of gloves for the coaches to clean and has provided vendors for any additional needs. Coaches will thoroughly clean each station between groups.
• Upon arrival, student-athletes will have their temperatures taken and asked the basic health questions supplied by the SCHSL. The temperatures will be recorded daily. Anything over 100.4 will disqualify the student. Any student that shows up without their mask will be sent home.
• Student-athletes must provide their own water containers. We cannot supply shared water sources. Olanta IGA has donated 83 cases of bottled water.
• The plan will be monitored and adjusted as needed to ensure the safety of our student-athletes and coaches.
Only Fall Sports Will Practice• Football• Volleyball• Cross Country• Cheerleading
The SCHSL Appellate Committee will be voting on August 10th to decide an appeal from Lexington District 1 to play baseball and softball in the fall instead of football. Currently, the SCHSL plan, that was approved by the Executive Committee, has a start date for Fall practices to begin August 17th.
Current concerns are heat, conditioning for athletes, and COVID. Starting over from scratch on August 17th with the first dates of competition on August 31st is not recommended. Would like to resume practice on Monday, August 3.
Using the COVID guidelines and procedures, the coaches will continue to strive for the overall safety of all student-athletes.
