Strategic: Goals, Objectives and Initiatives
Strategy is forming a long term plan or aim to achieve a specific purpose, or a way to describe a series of tactics or very specific action
Strategic Goal is the milestone the organization aims to achieve that evolves from the strategic issues
They transform issues to specific performance targets that impact the entire organization
Strategic objectives are specific, measurable and time-based
Strategic Initiatives should represent the most significant line of business or
cross line of business projects that are planned to improve performance

A Business Intelligence Unit known as Planning Advisory Unit was established to enable the Corps transform information into intelligence
• After generating several data with the aid of technology, the Corps created a Business Intelligence Unit named Planning Advisory Unit (PAU) for transforming information into intelligence
• Planning Advisory Unit’s functions include:
• Decision support • Performance management • Dynamic reporting; and • Benchmarking

A Business Intelligence Unit known as Planning Advisory Unit was established to enable the Corps transform information into intelligence (II) Specifically the PAU scans the environment which enables FRSC to:
• Foresee likely changes in it’s operating environment and prepare adequate responses • Anticipate actions of road users • • Gain knowledge from the successes and failures of other lead road safety agencies • Monitor Economic, Political and Legislative changes which may affect the Corps
activities and • Objectively evaluate the Corps performance
