Our BeginningIn 1949, Miami’s first and only museum of science was established, and since then it has been the cornerstone of science, technology and STEM education in South Florida and beyond. Now, through the generous gifts from our donors and the community, Frost Science is expanding to a new, state-of-the-art home in downtown Miami’s Museum Park. The new Frost Science will provide a superlative experience honoring the museum’s rich history and the community’s trust and investment.

Our FutureLocated on the most desired parcel of land in southeast Florida, the five-level, 250,000 square-foot, four building museum, designed by Grimshaw Architects, will be LEED Gold certified and will demonstrate best practices in energy management, green design and new technologies. The museum will offer indoor and outdoor in-depth learning via hands-on science activities, immersive environments, training programs, encounters with leading scientists and participation in research.

Give Today, Change Tomorrow…When a group of dedicated patrons made a commitment to build a new and expanded science museum, they started a legacy. They saw the museum’s importance to the local community and beyond, new waterfront location and dynamic programs as an essential investment for generations to come.

Frost Science will be a global leader in museums for its informal science education, programs and innovative exhibitions. By joining this group of visionary philanthropic leaders in making a Capital Campaign gift, you will leave your legacy and contribute to changing the landscape of Miami forever.

Naming opportunities are available to acknowledge significant Capital Campaign gifts on the major buildings of the museum and throughout the museum’s interior and exterior spaces.
