Deckelöffnung
Pendulum switch in lamp housing closes when lid is opened to approx. 45°, and activates:
Lamp ON
Evaporator fan OFF
Signal to electronic control, which:
triggers door alarm
is memorized for defrost
15
Alarms
Temperature alarm at -11°C (red LED + buzzer)
Lid opening alarm after 80 sec (buzzer only)
16
Fast Freeze
Start:either automatic after power onor manually selected by pressing the button
Operation:compressor run corresponding to maximum settingyellow LED on
End:Automatic after 48 hoursor manually de-selected by pressing the button again
17
Defrost
First defrost: 5 hours after power-on, or after power reset
After that defrost is initiated after 14, 30 or 71 hours -depending on lid openings
Actual defrost start is after the next compressor cut-out(If the compressor continues to run for more than 2,5 hours, it will be forcibly stopped)
Minimum defrost time: 20 min
Defrost heater is in series with a fixed bimetal thermostat, which opens at +5°C, closes at -4°C
18
Defrost
After the minimum defrost time (20 min), the electronic control starts checking once a minute if the thermostat has opened
Once this has happened, the heater triac will also switch off the supply to mark defrost end
Compressor start 5 min after defrost end
Fan start 3 min after compressor start (N.B.: simultanoeus start on initial software version
19
Defrost
Safety:
Temperature limit + 40°C (thermostat in series with the other side of the heater
Time limit 60 min
20
Manual Defrost
Appliance ON, lid closed (cavity must be cold enough for the defrost end thermostat to be closed)
Turn temperature selector knob to OFF
Open and close lid 4 times, waiting for at least 1 sec between each opening and closure (make sure lid is opened wide enough so the light will switch on)
Turn temperature selector knob to the maximum setting N.B.: all these operations (i.e. since starting the procedure byturning the knob to OFF) must be performed within 15 sec; if this time is exceeded, unplug the appliance and re-start procedure.
Defrost will now start in the normal sequence
21
Defrost Heater Failure
If the defrost heater is interrupted or disconnected, this will be shown by the flashing green and yellow LEDs
Defrost will last 1 hour
