Front Cover ConstructionThe first step I took was to insert the header which I wanted to be a Red colour this will include some information about the magazine. Secondly I inserted the Masthead; I wanted the A to be the biggest letter so it stood out even more. I got my text off the website DaFont as it has a biggest variety and the font that I wanted.http://www.dafont.com/

Next, I added the small bits of text; Price, Date, HIP HOP, Freebie, slogan. I added these because they were easy and quick to put it and didnt overlap with any text or anything that could affect it. I used normal text that was available on Photoshop called Letter Gothic std.

Then I added the main eye catching part of the magazine, the main image. I decided against my draft and filled the page with the main image. Once I had done that I then placed it behind all of the text so that the text would still stand out.

Finally I added the cover lines. I wrote these on the left side of the front cover to make them stand out by the side of the main image. I also made sure that the Main cover line was the biggest cover line on the cover so that the reader would see it first and therefore would want to read it more.
