trying to

find a

style of

writing

that I can

use for my

masthead.

I settled on this font because I liked the big bold writing and I thought it would be very suitable for a heavy metal magazine.

For the images I wanted an area where the surroundings would resemble the bands attitude.I felt that the best place for this would be a field with a park in it because heavy metal bands are not serious people if you get to know them and are very childish.

I will be using these magazines as research

COLOUR

Choice of font.

Language

• I am going to be using mostly slang because my target audience usually speaks like this.

• If I used queens English it would isolate my target audiences

• I will be using numbers instead of letters, e.g. one/ 1.

• I will be using exclamation marks to emphasise some sentences.

This will be my front cover image but it will be cropped and the background removed

This is what that photo looked like after it was cropped I removed one of my models because there was not enough room to fit him in.
