Professional Experience

Renovation of a single family residence into a two family. The challenge I faced was completing my first set of Construction Documents. The existing conditions were a lesson in demolition and how to represent this phase in Revit. Switching to a partition plan required an understanding of how Revit phases work. The various phases of a construction set involve a strategy and the most meaningful lesson was a Cartoon Set. This process helped me with the planning process. I acquired a better understanding of how to represent stairs due to three levels.

MY ROLES ON THE PROJECT

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONA new updated lobby for a residential building. New wainscoting, tile and carpet throughout all five floors were needed in this project. Modeling wainscoting in Revit was a challenge requiring details and the understanding of how wainscoting is constructed. Line work would have been much quicker, but modeling the architectural detail was required in order to create perspectives if needed.

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThis commercial project challenged me in the construction of a new ACT in the corridors and bathrooms. The bath-rooms also needed to be upgraded with new fixtures and surface areas.

Code research allowed me to remodel the public bathrooms within ADA specifications, as well as, a request for pri-vate bathrooms for management that also had to conform to ADA code.

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONAn existing space that included the entrance to the school. The client requested an updated entry way that was easier for visitors to navigate to the administration office. The existing space needed to accommodate four additional offices and therefore new ceilings. Professional Experience

Updating an outdated lobby to a contemporary entrance. Rich wood panels and a glass railing from above helped to accomplish this vision. I issued a full set of construction Documents. This rendering helped to convince the client of the Principles vision.
