Writing, recording and filming took place here and at various Broken Hill sites like the Big Red Chair and The Living Desert. NAIDOC CELEBRATIONS

Our Morgan Street celebrations were an enjoyable learning experience for all groups. Both children and staff deserve a pat on the back for the way they embraced the range of activities

with enthusiasm. All our visiting tutors spoke highly of every group they had. A true “Morgie” cultural acknowledgement.

CHRISTMAS TRAIN

Great excitement last week, when the “Bulldog Man” Adam Thomson and his production crew arrived to write verse 2 of the Aussie Christmas carol with Morgan Street students.

Writing, recording and filming took place here and at various Broken Hill sites like the Big Red Chair and The Living Desert. Now the team has headed to South Australia to a small school with a total indigenous population to write verse 3.

The final verse will be written in Kalgoorlie. They’ll be back…… December 4 when the Indian Pacific rolls into Broken Hill. We invite all Morgie families to come and help us sing the home grown carol at the Broken Hill Railway Station.
