    It’s hard to believe it’s

    August already!

    Sonoma County Fair is

    in full swing and the

    new 4-H year is right

    around the corner! Our

    annual leader training is

August 23rd – get it on

    your calendars now. We

    will have all the commit-

    tee signups available at

    the meeting and hope we

    can get some new faces

    to join in the fun!

    Camps are over for the

year and I heard from all

    the kids how wonderful

    and fun each camp was!

    Thank you to all the

    leadership of the Camp

    committee that keep

    providing such a won-

    derful fun, learning ex-

    perience to our youth.

    With enrollment just

    around the corner – it’s

    time to think about what

    wonderful projects to

enroll in or better yet be

    adventurous and try

    leading or being a

    Jr/Teen leader of a pro-

    ject. Lots of young

    members to help inspire

    and what a wonderful

    opportunity for you

    teens to expand your

    leadership and

    communication skills

    Hope everyone is enjoy-

    ing the fair season. It

    gives us all an opportu-

nity to see what a great

    group of 4-H members

    we have and how well

they do with all the pro-

    jects they have. It also

    allows our Teens to ex-

    pand their leadership

    roles by helping the

    younger exhibitors be-

    come successful in their

    endeavors. It is always a

    very proud moment for

    me to witness our teens

    becoming productive

    young adults.

    CCC meetings will be

    starting again on Sep-

    tember 2nd. Please re-

    member the meetings

    for September, October

    and November will be

    held at the 4-H office.

    the meeting and meeting
