Department of psychologyColumbus State University’s Department of Psychology presents the science of the mind and behavior to students. Students develop effective communication and critical thinking skills while learning how to conduct research, analyze data and present results.

Students can earn a Bachelor of Science degree, including a premedical option or minor in psychology, through the department.

From cognitive, social and personality to behavior analysis, biological and developmental psychology, the department prepares students for rewarding careers and graduate programs.

To extend student experiences and opportunities, the department also offers study-abroad courses, the Psychology Club and a local chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
