To: Anonymous "Editor"[email protected]/o [email protected]] Dear Anonymous Editor: I am in receipt of your Public Records request via email dated Dec. 9, 2014. The State Attorney's Office, Tenth Judicial Circuit, compiles a list of law enforcement officers and deputies within the Circuit whose credibility has been compromised. They are no longer used to testify in criminal proceedings within the Circuit, whether they remain employed by their agency or are or have been terminated. State Attorney Jerry Hill sends a letter to the officer or deputy and his or her agency, explaining that their testimony will not be used in criminal cases in the Tenth Circuit. You will find attached the list of officers and deputies and copies of the letters sent to them. As you may notice on some of the letters, addresses have been redacted. These are addresses that are exempt from disclosure, in accordance with Section 119.071 (4) (d). Should you have any further questions, or if I have misunderstood your request, please feel free to contact me at my email address or by phone at (863) 534-4801. Sincerely, Sam Cardinale, Executive DirectorState Attorney’s Office, Tenth Judicial CircuitBartow, Florida
