FN-NANO technology for a healthy and clean environment
The photocatalytic surface transforms the light energy into an electro-chemical force that effectively cleans the air, destroys microorganisms, and provides self-cleaning of surfaces.
Nanocrystals absorb UV radiation perfectly.
The surface consists of TiO2
semiconductor nanocrystals

1st generation : Electron Microscope Photos: Photocatalyst crystals are coated with a binder of the coating. This reduces the size of the surface for the photocatalytic effect.
Scheme: photocatalyst crystals coated with the binder.
2nd generation: Electron Microscope Photos:the photocatalyst crystals are extruded at high concentration on the surface of the porous structure formed by the binder. This maximizes the surface for photocatalysis.
Scheme: the photocatalyst crystals envelope the binder structure, protrude to the surface.
The second generation of photocatalytic coatings: A new type of binder brings a major leap in performance

The FN-NANO surface produced by the FN® functional coatings is extremely effective in trapping suspended particulate matter PM2.5, PM1 and smaller due to coating morphology and its high porosity. The organic constituents of this dust are then effectively disposed of by photocatalysis.
Current measurements indicate a loss of fine dust particles near the FN® surface by 20-30%.
FN-NANO technology for a healthy and clean environment
13
The highly effective photocatalytic surface created by FN® functional coatings effectively captures viruses, bacteria and spores due to it’s porous coating layer morphology. Microorganisms are effectively eliminated by photocatalysis and other non-chemical mechanisms subsequently.
