Traditionally, gearbox designers, integrators and

industries have responded to the demand for

increased performance with bigger machines.

For the irst time, the new SKF Explorer spherical

roller bearing for high speed applications is making

a new dimension of gearbox design possible. Up to

50% faster than comparable bearings on the

market, it enables a higher level of performance.

Faster gearboxes allow for the design of lighter

motors that deliver powerful performance with

lower energy consumption for end users.

With its robustness and cage strength, this new

SKF Explorer spherical roller bearing is designed for
