2007, encompassing our focus areas of Education, Rural Development, Women Empowerment, Environment, Health and Meditation. All of us in SHIVPRABHA can take pride in the fact, that our development initiatives have so far IMPACTED THE LIVES in 22 DISTRICTS ACROSS 4 STATES. The success of our social reformation work, which emphasizes working at the grassroots level and improving the quality of life of the underprivileged communities, motivate us to do much more and make a difference to rural Indians. Our major steps in 2017 are : We took over of www.riseforindia.com for sharing positive stories across the nation on said digital media platform and future usage of said platform for crowd funding to SHIVPRABHA to make itself sustained NGO. I am pleased to present the 3rd Annual Report of “SHIVPRABHA CHARITABLE TRUST”. The year 2017-18 marked another significant period of accelerated EFFORTS AND MOMENTOUS growth in the journey of our young Global Trust. We started our journey of social reformation since
A step to bring farmers under one roof to make them financially
and socially stable. Environment is key focus area took by
SHIVPRABHA in 2017 for protection of Nature, motherland who feed
us and keep us alive.
Start of work of our own VEDIC PRESCHOOL at Bhadrawati to
provide quality Education to Underprivileged Kids is one more
milestone work started by our team.
We added many partners to spread wings and works in the different
parts of the nation. We moved to additional 3 districts due to said
partners. Farmer’s safety is utmost important task Shivprabha took
and organized SHIVPRABHA FARMERS AWARENESS CAMPS in 10
districts. Getting in touch with Brave Police Inspector Anjali
Rajput posted in tribal Gadchiroli district is pride moment for us.
Through Anjali we supported GROUP MARRIAGE OF 60 TRIBAL
COUPLES.
I take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to each and
every one, who has contributed to making SHIVPRABHA a true
movement. Let us continue to play a support role in India's socio
economic development and for making the world a BETTER -
PLACE FOR THE FUTURE GENERATION.

Shivprabha charitable trust – organisation
Shivprabha has been working in Rural India since 2007 and globally from
2016 for Rural Development, Women Empowerment, Education, Yoga and
health.
We have been working on initiative like electrifying unelectrified villages and
students. We have helped 412 people by providing solar lamps. We have
adopted 12 villages in last 10 years to make them progressive and self-
sustainable village.
We are committed to improve infrastructure of schools in Rural hence we
have digitalized 3 Z.P. Schools. Four Z.P. Schools are on the way of
digitalization.
We have been empowering wives of suicidal farmers in Maharashtra, India.
We have empowered about 180 women till date. We are trying to provide
assured monthly income to wives of farmers through MahilaGruhUdyog.
Under health development, we have helped many patients for Heart surgery,
kidney transplantation, cancer, sickle cell, diabetics etc.
We have provided scholarship to more than 135 students starting from
primary to higher education.
We enlighten lives of Thousands of souls in terms yoga and meditation.

Education – Success Story Shri Uttamrao Kanwale from village Kalmula having 1.22 hector land. He has three
daughters and he is trying to provide best education to his all daughter. His elder
daughter Harshada got 80.8% in SSC and 73.69% in HSC. she also got 169 out of 200
in MHT-CET for PCB group. She has ambition to become Doctor and to achieve her
dream, she wants to step in the Government Ayurvedic College Nagpur for her medical
education. However, securing admission in this college is not easy for her as it
required huge money. Hence, Uttamrav sold his one Acre land. Uttamrao knew by
getting admission is not sufficient, he need continuous expenses for surviving in
Nagpur. He started taking loan from money lender at high interest rate of 2% per
month and taking care of monthly expenses of his daughter. Apart from Harshada, he
got two more daughters, Pranjali studying in 11th Science and Harika in 2nd Std.
Uttamrao’s wife Sangeeta supporting her husband by doing sewing work. As he has
taken lot of loan from outide, money lender stopped giving loan to him. It might possible
that only in 6 month, her education get stopped due to financial instability. After all
evaluation, Shivprabha supported Harshada and her father with Rs. 1500/-
Scholarship for this education year,
Akshay from Village Palora Chouras, Ta :Pauni, District :Bhandara, secured
83% in 12th exam. He always wanted to become an Engineer since his
childhood. Akshay is Son of Ramesh Bhivagade, a farm labourer . They did not
have their own farm. Income of the family was approximately Rs. 23,000 per
annum. Shivprabha helped him for admission in first year. He has honored
our help by studying hard and with dedication. It is a proud moment for all of
us that boy did extremely well in first year and secured 9.36 CGPA. We raised
Rs. 42,000/- to secure his 2nd year seat. His determination to achieve his
dream brought him from a village 40 kms away from Nagpur. Akshay’s
approach to his studies and work has impressed his professors and tutors too
and thereby manages to pay his Boarding and Lodging fees and stay afloat.

Education – Success Story Pravin Traymbak Laidwar, brilliant boy studying in 3rd of year B.Tech (Dairy
Technology). His excellent track record of last two years are:
•1st Semester - 8.26 CGPA
•2nd Semester - 8.27 CGPA
•3rd Semester - 7.77 CGPA
•4th Semester - 8.08 CGPA
He is college and university topper in all semester. He works in winter vacation as a
helper for building construction work, Inspite of all this hardwork, he is not able to
collect a small amount Rs. 9500/- for his next year admission. Even it is impossible for
him to manage travelling expenses. he goes to college which is 15 km far from him by
cycle.
His father earns only Rs. 200 daily whenever he get work. Apart from Pravin, family
has two more kids i.e. Pratiksha in 5th Standard and Ishwar in 1st Standard.
Pravin require 15 k per annum for his 3rd and 4th year engineering study.
Shivprabha stands behind Pravin to achieve his dream by providing financial
support and bearing his admission expenses every year.
Rohit Suresh Gawande from Village Malkapur, District: Akola, on 19th June 2016, in
search of job came at Yunus Khan’s office. Yunus tried to understand his situation
and financial condition and visited his home, Yunus came to know that Rohit lost his
parents when he was 5 year old. Then afterwards, he is living with his uncle. Rohit
with all such odds and by using old books from his friend passed his 10th with 87%.
and then he cleared 11th science with 81%. Now he in 12th at Sr. Patil College, Akola.
He doesn’t have funds to purchase books, note books and stationary hence he is in
search of job so that he can make himself financially strong. He has not completed
18 years of his age hence it is illegal if he works somewhere. Considering his
excellence in academic, shivprabha team decided to help him by providing funds for
purchasing books, note books and stationary for around 3K. 12th standard is
critical school year in student’s life and hence we decided to take care of his
financial requirement for whole academic year. 9

Sports – Success Story
Wonder boy 8 year old Kanak Maddi and his father met Shivprabha
team in September 2016. They both qualified for Black belt but couldn't
able to pay exam fee of just Rs. 8K (for both) to grab black belt.
Shivprabha with the help from all of you supported them and they
secured black belts. Today they got their registered Karate Training
center with about 55 students. This is one of the best example of
empowerment with minimal commercial contribution.

Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep
moving. They make mistakes, but they don’t quit. These are our students
who went out of India in all odd conditions. They shown the world if you
have strong desire and determination then nobody is going to stop you.
Whole universe is going to support you in your journey. See the change
happened in Hemlata, Apeksha, Nikita and Pramod after the International
tournaments.

Rural Development Most of the villages in India doesn’t have basic infrastructure likes roads,
electricity, water etc. Shivprabha has been helping villagers of many
villages to develop basic needs.
Recently there are some accident happened because of that farmers and
their kids got affected by poison.
Shivprabha conducted Farmer Awreness Camp at Village Shiharwadi,
Taluka Gangakhed, Dist Parbhani on 3rd Dec 2017 and at Village Londhari,
Taluka Pusad, Dist Yavatmal on 4th Dec 2017. The activities carried out in
the camp are as follows:
1. Safety awareness speech by Yunus Khan.
2. Distribution of safety awareness brochures to farmers.
3. Distribution of safety kit to farmers.
Today also Corers of our brothers and sisters live in huts with temporary shed.
Many people are under below poverty category hence do not have basic
requirements like food and shelter. Many of them actually living in huts under
sky. Thy do not have sheds over their head and getting badly affected during
rainy season. They have water everywhere in their houses. Helping hands, Aheri
and Shivprabha in collaboration decided to provide tadpatri to such needy
people. They have distributed tadpatries to 20 families costing total Rs 12000.
Diwali is the festival of lights spreading joy and prosperity. It is holy occasion
where atmosphere is filled with the spirit of mirth and love, However, there are
many families who doesn’t have opportunity to enjoy this big festival hence
shivprabha decided to provide them new cloths and sweet.
There are so many cases identified in India where farmers are committing
suicide because of distress causing due to insufficient funds, no proper
crops, uncertainty about climate. Shivprabha decided to provide Rs, 20K
to each such farmers for seed, crop protection and water.

Women Empowerment – Success Story
• Shrimati Gokula Waghaji Ingle lost her husband Waghaji due to critical
illness. Presently she is working as farm labour and earning Rs. 125
per day to feed family. Gokula of age 35 years got 3 daughters. Elder
Dipali of 16 years is in the 10th Standard, Sushma of age 15 years is in
8th standard and younger Neha is of age 12 years and in 6th
standard. Gokula's daughter want to support her mother and hence we
decided to support them by providing sewing machine and its training.
• Shrimati Usha Punjab Dhale lost her husband in November 2016. He
was farm labourer. After sudden incident, she has responsibility of two
kids and in-laws. Working as farm labour, she earns ₹ 120 per day
whenever she get work. Shivprabha decided to give them sewing
machine.
• Shrimati Vaishali Ramdas Maghade a young 27 year old lady from
Ramnagar Pusad, lost her Husband in February 2007. Inspite of being a
BA DEd, she was unable to find proper job. It was fortunate that she
could move back to her aged Parents. She has a 11 year old son and
stays with her father Ganpath Dhanave who is 70 years old. She works
as a Farm Labourer. We decided to Empower her with a Sewing
Machine.
• Shrimati Nita Datta Bele just 22 year old lost her husband. Her Education is
upto 7th standard. Datta Bele was farm labourer and committed suicide by
taking poison. Nita got 8 month old son and also taking care of both in laws
with doing farm labour work. Shivprabha decided to empower her with sewing
machine and training.
• Shrimati Girajabai Manoj Pande 25 year old women. Girajabai lost her husband
due to critical illness. She has two kids. Elder is Varsh 10 year old and younger
is Ganesh 3 year old. She is struggling to feed her kids in small hut with no
protection. We decided to empower her and support her family.

2200 children, 12 villages, 700 women and 800+ Men have benefitted from our
Sessions of which 200 children, 6 villages, 350 women and 300+ Men have

Health – Success Story
• Still today in India, China and Africa Leprosy is considered as contagious
disease and still people are boycotting patients. In fact family member’s
also don’t want patient though patient is father of kids. Same was
situation of Mr. Balkrishna Motiram Vatti from village : Ganeshpur, Gram :
Sirsi, Dist : Gadchiroli. Family was boycotted by village. Nobody goes in
their house and nobody helps them. Even now kids are also getting lot of
trouble due to father’s illness and they also don’t want father with them.
We had interaction with Anandwan team and Thanks to Swargiya Baba
Amte and Shri Vikas Amte who created heaven for leprosy affected
patients at Anandwan. They accepted to admit the patient on residential
basis.
• Mr Somnath and Ms. Priyanka from Village Thambare Dist Ahmednagar.
were excited when this little Angel came into their lives six years ago.
Priti was truly their world. When she was diagnosed as suffering from
blood cancer CLL their world fell apart. Dr Mane Medical Foundation has
helped to make sure she could get her hip surgery for bilateral knee
haematoma. She needs a knee correction surgery and regular
physiotherapy. The total expenses for this Operation has been 120K. Dr
Mane has so far taken care of 50K. Shivprabha raised another 70K to
ensure that the operation is successful. Shivprabha Annual Report 2017-2018 17
• Rohit Shindre a 22 year old Earning member of family wass lying in an ICU.
A severe Bike accident has brought him to this stage and has been admitted
to SIMS Hospital in Nagpur. He finished his ITI and still continuing studies
works for a Firm for collecting Deposits. He lost his Father at an Early age.
His Mother is a was DAILY Wage labourer and his sister studies in XIIth
Science. He has had a minor brain Haemorrhage would need at least is 1.2
lakhs before he is stabilized. Shivprabha decided to help Rohit in all possible
ways.
• Four years old Tanvi Deshmukh lives with her mother Mayuri Deshmukh, & her
Uncle Yogesh, at Umri in Akola. Her father, Sandip Deshmukh a small Farmer
who had a two acre non irrigated land expired due to a Dengue attack. They
realized that Tanavi is unable to hear & speak. She has started struggling for
an implant surgery. Mayuri also works on a sewing machine, for
fulfilling their daily needs. Tanvi has taken admission in Ekvira (deaf & dumb)
School but her mother is unable to pay her annual fees of 20k. Shivprabha
helped this family.
