Later they relive the past when the conflict spreads

When Kosovars are forced from their homes by the Serbs

And the mosques no longer call the faithful to prayer

They run for their lives

And beg for them too

Who will hear their cries?

Sam, Mehmet, Emira & the KLA go on the offensive

They pass through the Accursed Mountains

In this epic journey Sam realizes the value of life

And if he can save just one life

That of his beloved Emira

It is as if he has saved all humanity
