Join  us  this  year  in  Canada’s  Capital  Region  May  5  –  7,  2016  The  National  Voice  in  Canadian  Nutrition

The  Canadian  Nutrition  Society  (CNS)  is  a  leading  society  that  integrates  multiple  disciplines  and  professions  interested  in  nutrition.  Formed  in  2010  after  a  merger  between  the  Canadian  Society  for  Clinical  Nutrition  and  the  Canadian  Society  for  Nutritional  Sciences,  the  CNS  aims  to  further  nutrition  as  an  important  factor  in  maintaining  health,  and  preventing  and  treating  disease.      Working  with  partners  and  sponsors  in  pursuit  of  the  CNS  mission  is  an  important  strategy.  The  CNS  believes  that  by  working  in  collaboration  with  the  food  and  nutrition  industry,  medical  and  clinical  nutrition  industry,  research  funding  agencies  and  other  non-‐government  organizations,  we  can  offer  expertise  and  an  independent  point  of  view  in  the  most  responsible  way  possible.

The  CNS  Annual  Conference  A  forum  for  the  presentation  of  scientific  research  spanning  basic,  regulatory/policy,  clinical  and  community  nutrition  research,  the  CNS  Annual  Conference  offers  an  exceptional  learning  environment.  Nutrition  experts,  opinion  leaders,  industry  representatives,  government  officials,  and  future  leaders  come  together  to  learn,  share  research  and  ideas,  along  with  determining  how  to  improve  nutrition  practices  and  policies  through  collaboration  and  open  communication.

Why  Exhibit?  By  exhibiting  at  the  CNS  annual  conference,  your  organization  will:

• Be  an  active  contributor  to  the  exhibit  experience  at  the  only  multi-‐disciplinary  nutrition  focused  conference  in  Canada

• Have  the  opportunity  to  meet  with  existing  and  future  customers  from  across  Canada  • Be  able  to  showcase  your  latest  products  and  services  to  leaders  in  the  nutrition  field  • Network  with  notable  Canadian  nutrition  scientists  and  experts    • Be  associated  with  a  leading  Canadian  society  that  integrates  multiple  disciplines  and  sectors  -‐  all

with  a  focus  on  nutrition  -‐  from  bench  to  bedside.  • Have  unmatched  opportunity  to  reach  out  to  conference  participants  from  the  outset  of  the

conference  and  demonstrate  your  commitment  to  nutrition  and  health.

Who  will  attend?  CNS  promotes  nutrition  science  and  education,  and  advocates  for  the  application  of  best  practice  and  policies  for  the  promotion  of  health  and  the  prevention  and  treatment  of  disease.

The  annual  conference  brings  together  leaders  and  experts  who  are:    • Medical  trainees,  students  and  scientists/professionals  • Nutritionists  • Government  and  non-‐government  agencies
