Platoon: Robbery reduction along Preston and Poplar Level Corridors (Hotels, Thornton’s and Speedway) – Robb in 4100 block of Preston @ La Quinta Inn (suspect is B/M thin 5’7 with black gun) – Burg in 1200 block of Belmar (arrested Jacob Lozier W/M 1234 Belmar) - Thefts in 4000 block of Franklin (MSD sewer grate taken) and 3000 block of Poplar Level @ Sonoma Coffee Café (tables and chairs taken from front of business)

2nd Platoon: patrol Camp Taylor and GRC Parks for disorderliness, narcotics use/sales and illegal parking – Burgs in 2600 block of Merhoff, 1600 block of Whippoorwill and 1600 block of Orchard (shed – suspects are two males in black Ford Ranger w/ plate # 45243N) and 3700 block of Union - Thefts in 4000 block of Franklin (MSD sewer grate taken) and 3000 block of Poplar Level @ Sonoma Coffee Café (tables and chairs taken from front of business)

All Shifts Patrol the Norfolk Area, including not only Norfolk Proper, but also the surrounding area of Lambert and Sanford, Buechel Bank, Bannon Crossing and Brandon Dunes. Burglaries were reported this period in the 4000 Blk. Lambert and the 6400 Blk. Cottage Meadow. Finally, patrol the area off of Old Bardstown Rd. by the Buechel Bypass.

First / Third Platoon Three TFAs probably occurred during this shift. These include: 200 Blk. Welburn, 3800 Blk. Fenholt and 7100 Blk. Orchard Lake (all occurred 07/22-07/23).

Flex Platoon Check for subjects loitering around apartment complexes on Buechel Bypass.

Quality of Life Issues

Vehicles are parking in and around Buechel Park at night (possibly for drug transactions), along with cars illegally parked in Buechel Terrace near the park and blocking the sidewalk in the 200 Blk. of Bonnie Lane.

Increase patrol in the area of Klondike, Mid Dale, Brinkey, White Hall, Clingstone, and Orchard Manor.

THE OBVIOUS PROBLEM ON THIS BEAT FOR THE REPORTING PERIOD IS THEFTS FROM AUTOS. THERE WERE 13 FOR THE PERIOD WITH THE VAST MAJORITY OF THEM OCCURRING PRIMARILY OVER NIGHT IN THE BRECKENRIDGE ESTATES NEIGHBORHOOD. THESE INCIDENTS OCCURRED ALL WEEK, BUT THE GREATEST NUMBER WAS 07/18-07/19. INCIDENTS WERE REPORTED ON GINGERWOOD, ROYPOM, LANDSIDE, ARJAY AND WOODGATE. AS USSUAL, MOST VEHICLES WERE UNLOCKED.

1st Platoon A robbery in the 2900 Blk. Hikes occurred during this shift. A stolen auto in the 2200 Blk. Gerald Ct. probably happened on this shift.

2nd Platoon A robbery in the 4000 Blk. of Taylorsville occurred during this shift.

3rd Platoon A burglary in the 2900 Blk. Explorer occurred during this shift.

Quality of Life Issues Enforce loud music violations on the Hikes and Breckenridge Lane.

Traffic Issues

Speeding on Hikes Lane and people cutting through the lots at the intersection of Hikes and Klondike are present complaints.
