Dear Parents and Caregivers,
This will be our final newsletter of 2018. I would like to take this opportunity to say a
heartfelt thank you to our entire school community. A year is a long time to share
together and together we have achieved so much. Our students are blessed to come to
school in a community that is so invested and supportive.
To our students we say thank you for coming to school each day ready to embrace
your learning and accept all challenges and adventures. We are very proud of each and
everyone one of you and the learning journey you are on. Your smiling happy faces
keep us going and fill our hearts...you are why we are all here!!!
To our families and P&C we give our thanks. Your support of our school and our
students are greatly appreciated. We believe in the old saying that it takes a village to
raise a child...the partnership we share and relationship we develop is important and
essential to success for each and every one of our students. Thank you for coming to
assemblies in the bitter cold or the scorching heat, thank you for helping in classrooms,
serving in the canteen, coming to P&C meetings, covering books and transporting
students to Gala days...your support is acknowledged and appreciated.
We wish all of our families a Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy new year. For
those children and families whose journey at Mulgoa ends this year we wish you
happiness and success. We look forward to relaxing and rejuvenating over the
Christmas break ready to start 2019 with energy and enthusiasm and we look forward
to sharing your journey again next year!

Important Messages
*Our Presentation day assembly will be held on Monday, 17th December 2018.
The assembly will begin at 9am, we hope that you are able to share this special
celebration with us.
*We will be holding our thank you morning tea at the completion of our Talent
Quest and Art Show on Tuesday 18th December. To all our family and friends that
have helped in our classrooms or school this year we would like to thank you and
hope you can join us for some cake and a cuppa.
*A reminder that our second hand uniform stall is always looking for donations. If
you are buying new uniforms over the break please donate your old uniforms! Thanks
*Our 2019 school year starts on Wednesday, 30th January for our year 1-6
students and Monday, 4th February for our Kindergarten students. Staff will return
to school on Tuesday, 29th January for our Staff Development Day.
*Thank you to all the students that participated in our annual science fair. It was
wonderful to see a range of experiments and some very detailed and well
researched explanations!!

P&C News - Thank you to all P&C members for a successful 2018. Our next meeting will be the Annual General
Meeting early Term 1 2019. The date and time of this meeting will be communicated to all families at the beginning of 2019.
