Martyrs of
Lahore
Hudhur ( aba) said with the grace of Allah Almighty Jalsa Salana Germany was
being inaugurated with his sermon and thanked Allah Almighty for this
Hudhur (aba) prayed that May
• Allah blesses this Jalsa in every way
• This Jalsa refreshes our faith and give it a new life
Hudhur (aba) advised
• To always remember the purpose for which the Promised Messiah ( on whom be peace) has set up the system of Jalsa Salana
• We can only benefit from this Jalsa if we are mindful of its aims and purpose
The aims of Jalsa Salana
• To comprehend the true meaning of Bai’at and increase in faith
• To make the love of Allah and the Holy Prophet ( pbuh) take precedence over all other worldly loves
• To increase in acts of virtuousness
• To Increase religious knowledge and understanding
• To develop a bond of brotherhood and love with each other and increase this
• To pray for brothers who have passed away from this world while fulfilling their covenant of Bai’at

Special prayers
Hudhur (aba) said that he
would want us to try to improve
our spiritual standing
Hudhur (aba) said that we
should pray to achieve this as
well
Hudhur ( aba) said to pray that Allah Almighty keeps every
Ahmadi in every part of the world
in His protection.
Especially pray for Pakistani
Ahmadis
The conditions for Pakistani Ahmadis are particularly difficult, opponent have
been given a freehand to do whatever they like
May Allah grant steadfastness to Pakistani Ahmadis, strengthen their faith, protect
them from all evils and accepting their sacrifice show outstanding and
distinguished signs
Hudhur (aba) drew attention to some
administrative matters related to Jalsa Salana
Workers should be most polite and mannerly
Hudhur( aba) advised to show complete obedience to the duty holders and not to get upset at their request or take offence.
Hudhur ( aba) urged the participants to show complete cooperation with the workers and follow rules and regulations devised for the smooth running of
Jalsa Salana
With the grace of Allah, generally these volunteers carry out these duties selflessly only for the sake of Allah
The management of Jalsa Salana is run by volunteers from all walks of life who dedicate their time and efforts to serve the guests of the Promised

Jalsa Salana and security
Hudhur (aba) advised to stay particularly
focused on the security of the event and to
remain alert and aware of the surroundings
Opponents can gain entry in the Jalsa Salana despite all
security arrangements in order to create
disruption and mayhem
Hudhur ( aba) said to show complete
cooperation with the security staff, let them do a security check if
asked for the 10th time. Hudhur (aba)
explained that this is for your own safety
therefore this should not be made into a
matter of ego
Guest are only allowed to enter after security clearance
Hudhur ( aba) prayed that Allah Almighty protect all and help us to
gain the benefit from the blessings of the Jalsa Salana as much as
possible

about the martyrs of Lahore

Hudhur (aba) said that this biography is in no particular
order. As he receives facts about martyrs, he talks about
them
Hudhur (aba) said that by sacrificing their lives these
martyrs have given new horizon to our thoughts
Martyrs of Lahore
Khalil Ahmed Sulangi
He was very pleasant, always smiling and had an impressive record of matchless financial sacrifices.
He came from the family of the companions of the Promised Messiah (on
whom be peace) and have served Jama’at in many
high level capacities even at a young age
He was 51 years of age and have recently settled in the
USA. He was visiting Pakistan for a business matter
During the attack, he could have saved his life by going to the
basement, but was martyred while attempting to pull an injured
brother to safety. He was Moosi.
He was dedicated, hardworking, a
righteous person who was an exemplary
father and husband
He showed exemplary obedient to Khilafat. He
consulted Khilafat before starting any new
project

Hudhur ( aba) said that businessmen generally don’t
leave business deals in the middle but Sulangi
Sahib would happily do so to carry out Jama'at duty
He was a forerunner in financial
Jihad. He made major financial
sacrifices for building the Mosque
in Gujranwala, reception in
Daruziafat, a guest house in
Qadian, another guest house,
Baitul Futuh and all other projects
of the Jama’at
He had strong
faith and in 1974
left his family at a
young age, when
some family
members were
unable to show
steadfastness at
Ahmadiyyat He used to be in charge of Transport for Qadian Jalsa and
always did this job deligently. He was most responsible, well
mannered, cooperative and had the skill to make others work

their Khuddam days. He was very dedicated and
always made himself available if called by the
Markaz under any circumstances.
He co-operated in
all Jama’at works.
He became more
humble as he
progressed
financially.
He was generous and
always helped other. He was
good at giving sound advise
He was the nephew of Ch. Sir Zafrullah Khan, He did Bar et Law from London and practiced in the UK for sometime
He served Jama’at in many capacities and
had the honour to serve 4 Khulafa
He was always very complimentary about
the people of the Jama’at of the
Promised Messiah (on whom be peace)
Hudhur ( aba) related a faith-inspiring incidence when he was unfairly
sacked for standing up to the Prime Minister of the time for an illegal
matter and was reinstated later as revealed in a dream

He was 83 and Moosi, has settled all his
accounts for Wassiyyat in his life. He actively
contributed to the orphan scheme

suggestion to skip the Juma occasionally for his own safety

son and grandson were saved by the grace of Allah
He was generous and caring and looked after poor and needy
He always used to pray and used to
ask others to pray for the good ending

Maulvi Bashiruddin Sahib saw a white car in his dream and a voice
said, I have come to take you.
He was advocate by
profession and was 83 years
of age
He was a soft natured
person. He never told anyone off, regular in Namaz
He was good
natured man and used to take legal cases of
poor people for free and even would
help his poor clients
financially

Hudhur (aba) related an incidence of bigotry of the
nation that a colleague judge said that I can express
regret at his death but will not pray for his forgiveness
He used to recite the Holy
Qur’an for hours. His little
grand daughter said that may
be he is reciting the Holy
Qur’an in the Heavens, when
she was told about his
martyrdom

many capacities. He had the duty for the security on the front gate of Daruzikr. He was martyred when trying to catch the

qualities and was keen to
dedicate his life for the services of Jama’at. His
children are Waqfe Nau

He was very dedicated. He used to do his duty with a
sense of devotion. Once he worked in Daruzikr till after
midnight and woke up for Tahajjud prayers at 3.30 am.
His wife asked him to take at least some rest, he replied
that he was not interested in the rest in this world and
was focussed on the rest in the next world.

was trained as a solar engineer
He was dedicated and committed to Khilafat and always fulfilled his
promises. He had a simple lifestyle. He was quiet, righteous and maintained a
high level of obedience. He never refused to do a Jama’at duty.
In Japan his services were equal to Waqfe zindgi. He
dedicated his house to be used as mission house in Japan.

He belonged to a noble family. There has been shaheed amongst his family elders.
He was dedicated Ahmadi and his duty was on the
first barrier for the security
When reminded of his duty, he said, don’t worry I will be there and if required, take the first
bullet on my chest
He was the very first person to be shot at and was martyred instantaneously when
gunman opened fire
He was soft spoken, obedient and had a serving nature

attack, he was trying to close the door to block
entry of the terrorist when gunman stuck the
nozzle of the gun through the door and

He was hospitable, righteous and pious person. He helped the needy. He
would arrange the marriages
of poor girls and
support the education
of poor children
He was from the progeny of
Hadhrat Umar Farooq (ra). He was regular in
Salat and Tahajjud. Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih III (ra) said about him
that he was the grandson of the person who was first to take Bai’at of the Promised
Messiah (on whom be peace)

He saw in a dream 10 years ago that a grave was being prepared next to Hadhrat Umar Farooq (ra)
and he was told that this was his grave

He was a medical doctor and held a high managerial position in Mayo Hospital
Lahore. His son was injured during the attack
He was kind, caring, sophisticated and very nice to his patients. He was a loving
father. He never spoke harshly.
He was committed, would regularly and repeatedly listen to Friday sermons. He
was knowledgeable and read the books of the Promised Messiah ( on whom be
peace)
He was so popular that when his non Ahmadi landlord heard about is
martyrdom, he fainted. He always paid the rent on time by going to the landlords
home for six years.

His wife saw in a dream that a beautiful house is floating in the heavens and he was in that house. She also saw in a dream that
there is dreadful storm and earthquake and she could not find her husband anywhere.

looking for him frantically, He said to his son, if we die, we will be
martyred along with our brothers
When his son bought a car,
he told him it is better to do
Zikr illahi (remembrance of Allah) in the
car then to listen to tapes
and CDs
He was regular in Salat and Tahajjud, used to watch MTA
regularly. He was a keen boxer
His son wanted to insure the car, he explained to him that insurers are
weak, Allah is more powerful. So give some money for
chanda monthly for your car and seek Allah’s protection

walked to ambulance but could not make to the hospital

He has a joint family system. He never gave anyone a reason to complaint.

His daughter saw him in a dream after his martyrdom. He was standing at he door of the house and in response to her daughter's question that are you alive, he replied, I am well and I am with you.

May Allah be the Guardian and Protector of their families
May Allah help their parents to bear this atrocity with patience and courage
May Allah make their descendants strong in faith and steadfast in adhering to their faith
