BCA Management Office Closing – The BCA Management office will close at 3:00 p.m. today, due to a staff meeting. An Evening in Vegas: Betting on a Cure Epilepsy Foundation Benefit – Join us tomorrow evening, September 10th for a Casino Night benefiting the Epilepsy Foundation, with casino games, food and drinks, deejay, poker tournament, raffles, door prizes, and one amazing silent auction. Mowing Operations Temporarily Ceased – Due to the excessive rain this week, the ground is saturated and unsuitable for mowing in most areas. The risk of substantial turf damage is high and most likely, inevitable. Contractors have ceased mowing operations until next week. They will resume mowing on Monday and will take the appropriate measures to get caught up next week. Thank you in advance for your patience.
Beacon Crest Extended Pool Hours – Beacon Crest Pool will remain open for the next two weekends (9/10-9/11 & 9/17-9/18) from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Doggone Wild Pool Party – A pool party for dogs at the Community Center Pool will be held on September 18th. Two More Weeks Until Bramble10 Bash and Fall Festival! – We will be celebrating 10 Wonderful Years as a Community on September 23rd and 24th! You will not want to miss all the fun – concerts, comedian, food, beer, rides and inflatables, Vendor Marketplace, demos, face painting, and so much more! Buy your Family Fun weekend pass for $45, which gets you entrance for both days and ride wristbands for Saturday. *Please note, family passes are for up to 2 adults and their children and are for Brambleton residents only.

o Little Hands Music – Join us on a musical adventure into the land of color and song! We’ll sing, dance, play, and create! Each class includes time for hands-on music making, story-telling, movement, and a “jam session” with fun instruments and other props. Pre-Ballet/Creative Movement/Tumbling – 2 and 3 year olds 8:30-9:00 a.m. Theme based classes take children on a movement adventure! Classes include warm-up, pre-ballet, creative movement incorporating motor skills while exploring the elements of dance. Developmental Gymnastics includes tumbling on a mat and obstacle course sequencing. The program includes CDC's annual show, with costumes at no additional expense to the parents.
Ballet & Jazz Basics – 4-6yrs 9:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. This first half of this class is a magical way to expose your child to the world of ballet! The children will learn all the fundamentals of ballet. The second half of this class, children will learn the basics of Jazz dance. Designed to instill the love of dance in the young dancer, this entire class will introduce concepts of listening, moving through space, and co-operating with others within a creative dance framework with use of current, appropriate music and terminology. The program includes CDC's annual show, with costumes at no additional expense to the parents.
o Kids Yoga – A new 6 week session has started and will run through October 6th at the Community Center. The classes have merged into one: Ages 3-6, Thursdays, 5:30-6:15 p.m.. The cost is $60/session. For more info visit: www.AshburnKidsYoga.com or email [email protected].
o Adult Yoga – Evening Yoga Flow from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Community Center. Unwind after work with a flow practice that will stretch, relax, and energize you! A limited number of spaces are left for the new co-ed youth running program in Brambleton. The 8-week program runs September 14 - November 2, 2011 culminating in group participation in a local 5k race or 1 mile fun run. Training practices will be held: Wednesdays, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Legacy Elementary track, and optional group runs: Sundays, 3:00 p.m. All paid registrants will receive a Kids Run the Nation t-shirt. TALK OF THE TOWN CENTER Bella Ballerina Registration – Starting Tuesday, September 13th, Bella Ballerina will be holding registration from the Brambleton Welcome Center (42395 Ryan Road) until their studio opens in October. Registration hours will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 – 2:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. They will be able to register students, as well as
provide the opportunity for students to try on and purchase shoes/dancewear if needed. Act quickly as classes are filling up fast with only a few more weeks to register! For more information, visit their website www.bellaballerina.com.
The Verizon FiOS store located in the Brambleton Town Center will be closing tomorrow, September 10th. Please continue to use the Brambleton hotline at 1-800-501-1172 for all your Verizon needs. Should you need to return a set top box please utilize the UPS store in the Town Center as well.

Briar Woods High School Band TAG DAY Fundraiser – Tomorrow, September 10th *****DIG DEEP, THESE YOUNG PEOPLE PLAY FOR BRAMBLETON!***** Briar Woods High School Band’s Annual “Tag Day” in Ashburn is Saturday, September 10th. Briar Woods Band members will be visiting homes in Brambleton to collect donations for BWHS music programs. This yearly fundraiser not only helps pay for instruction and equipment, but it also supports our Briar Woods Band as it performs at home and competes across the region. 100% of your donation goes directly to our music programs. The Dulles South Alliance has partnered with South Riding Proprietary to host the 2011 Candidate Forum on September 13 at Freedom High School at 7:00 p.m. Candidates for Loudoun County Ridge and Broad Run districts have been invited to attend. Candidates for Chairman of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors have also been invited to participate. The forum will be moderated by John Geddie, Managing Editor of Loudoun Times-Mirror. Candidates will have the opportunity to answer questions regarding important issues impacting the Dulles South region. Registration for the 2011-2012 Two Ridges Basketball League for players and coaches continues through September 11. T2RBL is a youth basketball organization that operates in coordination with the Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PR&CS) and serves boys and girls in grades 4-12 in our community. T2RBL provides organized and competitive basketball with emphasis placed on improvement for all players, coaches and officials. T2RBL is supported and run entirely by volunteers so coaches must also
register via the league's web site. Additional information and directions for player and coach registration can also be found at the league web site (www.erhoops.org). No registrations will be accepted after the September 11 deadline.
