Bramble10 Bash & Fall Festival Canceled – Due to weather conditions forecasted and very wet grounds at the festival area, we are canceling ALL of the weekend festivities. The Brambleton Community Association and Activities Committee are in the process of rescheduling as much as possible for the beginning of November. Hip Hop – 5:00 p.m. - ages 5-7yrs; 6:00 p.m. - ages 8-10yrs; 7:00 p.m. - age 11+. Ballet/Jazz – 6:00 p.m. – ages 5-7yrs; 7:00 p.m. – ages 8-12yrs Dance Cardio - 8:00 p.m. for Adults Pre-Ballet/Creative Movement/Tumbling – 2 and 3 year olds 8:30-9:00 a.m.

Theme based classes take children on a movement adventure! Classes include warm-up, pre-ballet, creative movement incorporating motor skills while exploring the elements of dance. Developmental Gymnastics includes tumbling on a mat and obstacle course sequencing. The program includes CDC's annual show, with costumes at no additional expense to the parents.

Ballet & Jazz Basics – 4-6yrs 9:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. This first half of this class is a magical way to expose your child to the world of ballet! The children will learn all the fundamentals of ballet. The second half of this class, children will learn the basics of Jazz dance. Designed to instill the love of dance in the young dancer, this entire class will introduce concepts of listening, moving through space, and co-operating with others within a creative dance framework with use of current, appropriate music and terminology. The program includes CDC's annual show, with costumes at no additional expense to the parents.

The First Annual Layups in Loudoun basketball fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Loudoun Area 14 is set for tomorrow, September 24th, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Briar Woods High School in Ashburn. Alumni basketball players from Loudoun will participate in a game to help raise money and awareness for the area’s Special Olympics program. Halftime festivities will feature a scrimmage with Special Olympic athletes and their coaches and volunteers.
